I am looking at that possibility, too! Looks like about a 4-hour trip-

November 29 is the Sunday after Thanksgiving. No time has been announced for the game yet, but it seems probable that it would be an afternoon game (Sunday night games are rare). The University of Missouri has a Thanksgiving recess from Saturday, Nov. 21 through Monday, Nov. 30. So there is a good chance that student attendance will be lower than usual on that Sunday, especially if the game is in the afternoon. And despite a campus with over 30,000 students, the student attendance at home games is usually sparse. They reportedly only draw as little as a few hundred students at some home games, even when they are all on campus.

The Mizzou Arena seats 15,000. Last season they averaged 9,134 per game for their 19 home games, but only 8,347 per game for their seven non-conference home games. And their first home game after Thanksgiving last November was their lowest attended game of their entire home schedule, just 7,894. They had a rather lousy season last year (2019-20)- 15-16 overall, and 7-11 in the SEC, and the previous season (2018-19) they were 15-17, 5-13.

However, they should be better next year. They return their top 7 scorers, and they will have 6 seniors, two of which are 5th year seniors, along with 6 juniors. Their top returning scorer is 5th year senior guard Dru Smith, who spent his first 2 seasons at Evansville, and transferred after Marty Simmons was fired.
Here are last season's stats-
https://s3.amazonaws.com/sidearm.sit...ts_March_7.pdf
Their only player losses were senior Reed Nikko who graduated, and 4-star freshman Tray Jackson, who transferred to Seton Hall after the season ended.

Their head coach is Cuonzo Martin, a former head coach at Missouri State, who had some success his first season at Mizzou by hiring MIchael Porter, Sr. as an assistant and getting his two 5-star sons (Michael Porter, Jr. & Jontay Porter) as a bonus to go along with the talent he inherited. But after the Porter kids left for the NBA, things have not gone so well, despite a pretty talented roster.
Record- https://www.sports-reference.com/cbb/schools/missouri/

I wonder if he could be on the hot seat if they have another underwhelming season in 2020-21 with a mostly senior loaded roster.

Outstanding to hear about this Mizzou game. Went down their back in 1989 or 90 with a fellow fraternity brother still as BU students. Horrible game and a L, but to our surprise BU gave us 2nd row seats right by the BU bench....and we entered the arena thinking how bad these nosebleed seats would be. This "Bradley contribution" has returned a thousand fold back to BU... the Once a Brave Always a Brave motto ..... and in contributions back.

One other game on the 2020-21 schedule that was revealed tonight by Coach Wardle on the Coaches Caravan Facebook Live video-
https://www.facebook.com/watch/live/...atch_permalink

Coach Wardle said Bradley will have a home game against South Dakota State. No date was mentioned, but apparently, the game is confirmed.

South Dakota State finished 22-10 last season and 13-3 in the Summit League. They tied for 1st place in the Summit regular season with North Dakota State at 13-3. They made it to the championship game of the Summit League tournament, and were upset by IPFW 77-74.
They had the best RPI and NET in the Summit League (NET 126), and they have a lot of returning talent and will be a top pick to win the Summit League again in 2020-21. They return 4 of their top 5 scorers, and they return all 5 starters that started for them down the stretch.

They have dominated the Summit League over the past 10 seasons averaging over 23 wins per season. And they have had a 10 straight winning seasons.

Anyone else see this? I would love to see this become a rivalry. https://twitter.com/DrewAdams08/stat...007331841?s=20

Yes, I actually talked to Coach Adams about this last week. St. Louis is looking for a Quadrant 1 matchup, but isn't everyone? Bradley could likely be a Quadrant 1 team next season. Bradley would love a home and home with former MVC foe St. Louis (they were in the MVC from 1937-1974), but so far no response from them. Let's hope something develops.

I am guessing they will not be interested in this. Bradley probably doesn't carry the cachet they are looking for (plus it would likely be an L for them at our place).

Latest schedule news- Bradley will play at Tulsa on Wednesday, Dec. 2, and Tulsa will return the game by playing in Peoria in the 2021-22 season.

And a home game vs. South Dakota State- date unknown

So far: 3 home games, 3 road games, and 3 neutral site games.

There will probably be 4 more non-conference games yet to be announced, and at least 3 and probably all 4 will be home games.
Last season, Bradley played 8 home non-conference games (17 total home games), and in 2018-19 they played 7 non-conference home games and 16 home games total. As of now, we are at 3 home games for 2020-21 (St. Joseph's, Miami (Ohio), and South Dakota State).

Looking really solid! Let's just hope we actually get to play these games...

That is a decent non-conference schedule, though not the best home slate for their fans (if there are fans). They have a chance at quadrant 1 opponents in Purdue, SMU, and Belmont, although all 3 were just outside quadrant 1 last season. They only have 5 non-conference home games, and only Belmont had a decent RPI last season (Belmont-83, EIU-265, Tenn Tech-319, IUPUI-334, SEMO-350). The best games are the home & home with Belmont (RPI 83), the Ohio Valley Champion, and the road games against Purdue (RPI 96) and SMU (RPI 89).
The Dana Point Challenge includes Fresno State (last year RPI 231), Pepperdine (last year RPI 130) and Oakland (last year RPI 236), in addition to Evansville.
The SMU and Ball State games are return games. Last season, they lost at home to SMU 59-57, and beat Ball State at home 79-75.
