Illinois State head coach Ryan Pedon gets another commitment, ISU's second for 2026- Matthew Szafoni, a 6'8" forward who is a senior at Lane Tech HS in Chicago.
He is not ranked on any lists I can find among the top players in Illinois for 2026. But, there are some who say he is an underrated player with good ball handling and shooting skills.
His only other D1 offers were from UIC and North Dakota State.

Drake just got a 2026 commit, a kid Bradley had offered, Miles Flemons

was reading some comments by Drake fans, they have already christened Flemons as the 2nd coming of Darnell Brodie.
I have some doubts but we will know more if he's like Brodie in 7 or 8 years ...

Because Bradley recruited him, I watched some videos of Miles Flemons, who just committed to Drake.
Here are a couple videos worth watching-

From what I see, he is undersized for a D1 center/low post player (probably 6'7" at the most). He definitely has some skills and appears to finish effectively around the basket. I can see why Coach Wardle liked him. But in the videos, he is matched mostly against smaller players, and at the D1 level, the players he will match up against will be 4-5" taller and more skilled. Other impressions: he is a bit heavy, slow, and he doesn't jump well. He plays below the rim, and the few perimeter shots he takes are while standing still, so it doesn't appear he can create shots away from the basket. But players like Flemons can be effective in the MVC, like Chase Walker. He will need to develop his game a bit to be effective at Drake, IMO, but he has potential.

UIC lands a 2026 recruit who was considered one of the top unsigned recruits in Texas
6-2 (sometimes listed as 6-1 and also sometimes listed as PG) shooting guard from Beaumont, TX,
