Ok...so we've had much debate on this one...

Who do you think the starters should be?

I say lets take a vote...

Mine given the previous 2 games would be Singh, Brown, Wilson, Roberts, Dunson

**Also, I didn't put Warren on there because we don't know if he will play on Mon., but vote for the 10th choice if you still don't see that**

**Along w/ that, there were only 10 choices and I figured there was no sense of putting either Norris, Egolf, Thompson, or the walkons in there as none have played even close to enough to warrant any kind of start**

we are playing a small team in umkc. collins will dominate and he should start.

i kept the lineup the same except if AW is in good enough condition, start him instead of CR.

I like having DC off the bench...still getting a ton of minutes...just having Singh start.
takes a lot of pressure off of him and possibly takes away some early game fouls...as it seems DC is going to be in foul trouble alot (based off of first 2)

I disagree, read Scout41## assesment. He points out the DC thrives on confidence. Starting helps him with that. I say let him start. SS has no problem coming off the bench, so let's do that. DC I think will be great against OK teams but OK against good to great teams. I feel like DC gets intimidated. This is pretty frustrating to me, but I still think he should start, and I think it will keep us from losing games that we shouldn't.

The only change in the lineup I would make would be to insert Warrenin place of Roberts when he is healty enough to return. So it would be SM, DD, AW, TW, and DC. I believe that is our best lineup.

I think the line-up is fine. If we are still having problems after tuesday I may want things to change though.

I would start AW instead of SM. Also, the words Collins and dominate should not be in the same sentence. In order for a performance from his positin to be called "dominate" it would have to be something like 25 points and 15 rebounds and 4 blocks. That may be what Collins line would be if you added 3 games together.

My lineup is Dodie, Taylor Brown, Theron, Roberts, and Sam Singh.

If AW is healthy, then I would start Andrew in place of Taylor Brown...
TB as a sixth man would add a lot to this team.

I agree but and a big but we need someone who can handle the ball. SM needs to get back to basics and run the O not try to do too much. He is a better scorer when he does not force the issue and let it come to him. JL will need to tweak his role. My opinion is that JL was asking him to score more then he is capable of doing. With AW back I'm sure his role will change to set AW up.

I am less concerned about who starts as I am who gets the most minutes. The only exception would be considering not starting Collins to keep him away from those early fouls, because sometimes officials call it a little closer in the 1st few minutes of the game. I would also say that if the starting lineup stays the same all year, then those 5 must be the hardest and best performers every week in practice for the entire year....I doubt it. I would enjoy seeing some changes in the starting lineup based on a players performance in practice. This would send a message to all players. It did in 2006! Again, who starts the game is not a huge concern of mine.

ur right, 21 and 9 AND 13 and 11 are not 25 and 15. i'm assuming most don't expect patrick o'bryant out of DC this year.

those are his numbers for the two exhibitions which were against smaller big men. also, if you look at some of last year's stats he's notably better against teams that are weak down low.

i think DC will surely start and he will have a GREAT game.
