I'm sure the $30 million gift CAT is giving for a new engineering/business annex is all because of JL too...
 
I have traveled to Pekin, Bartonville and Canton in the last 2 days and because everyone knows I am a Bradley fan I have had several people ask what the heck is going on at BU and all of them say that a change needs to be made, now this is coming from a lot of people but not sure how many of them actually attend games,(probably tv. fans) , I told them that I feel like he deserves to be here next season and had better make changes or that may be it.

a lot of people are unhappy...but check the circus that's DePaul right now, and see if that's what you want here...

Maybe wait 'til end of season then talk change if appropriate

I don"t think a change needs to be made and only believe we need a strong recruiter for Chicago and an asst. coach that can teach better defense.

I've sat on subcommittees involved in the processes involved and know this statement is not even close to true.

JL has helped, and his popularity coupled with the Sweet 16 helped speed certain things along, but again, Bradley was going to do these things regardless.

Again not true. Bradley used $100 million of its endowment to start these projects.

They were going to happen, and will continue to happen (there are 2 more waves of expansion forthcoming after the currently announced projects) with or without JL.

So you are telling me that no other coach or person in the athletic department could have spearheaded a fundraiser and got this started? Give me a break. Yes, it may have come a bit faster with JL, but to say this expansion is wholly the doing of JL is naive.
 
As long as the administration backs JL I will support him. I would assume there will be some staff changes or additions. The lack of defense is frustrating. I will also say that writing the checks for maintenence fees and the seats I have this May will be painful with the declining results. NCAA to NIT to CBI to CIT to nothing if this years trends continue. The 2006 team had great team D. The 2007 team was a great passing and shooting team. I don't know what our signiture style is the last few years. Other than we keep "going back to basics".

Mo couldn't raise money mostly because his teams were muddling in mediocrity. I won't disagree that JL is much better with schmoozing alums, but had he not had the late season 2006 run, he'd be gone and someone would be getting lauded for the new facilities. You act like he arrived and instantly millions came with him. I'm not so sure that's the case.
 
Bradley (98 ) is one of only 2 teams in the top 100 RPI with a losing record. ISU is barely in front of us at (93) with a 12-4 record.

I guess that speaks well for Les, but man think of where we could of been with what turned out to be a great NC schedule.

Not sure it speaks well for Les at all, considering 3 of our 8 losses are at home in games where we led by double-digits in the 2nd half. How different does this year look at 10-5 and 3-2 in league play as opposed to 7-8 and 2-3? I'm no expert, but our RPI is probably 40 or 50 spots higher and we are positioning ourselves for an NIT at the least.
