Something big is going down.
Apparently right after the Athletic Director, Mike Alden dismissed several members of their coach-selection committee, then went right ahead and negotiated a deal to bring Mike Anderson in as new head coach from UAB (University of Alabama Birmingham), then the proverbial sh*t hit the fan.
Apparently several of the members of the Board of Curators at University of Missouri called a special, unprecedented EMERGENCY MEETING FOR 12:30pm Sunday.
Rumors are rampant that Athletic Director Mike Alden will be dismissed.
Stay tuned, the soap opera called "Mizzou" never fails to intrigue.

Rumors have the terms of the contract said to be $1.3 million per year for six years. The amounts negotiated and the manner in which the negotiations took place appear to be issues that have the Univeristy's Curators disturbed, but many of the Curators were already very upset over the manner in which the Quin Snyder firing was handled.
University Chancellor Brady Deaton, who sits on the Board of Curators, appears to be backing Mike Alden and the coach selection (of Anderson), but reportedly eight of the nine members of the Board of Curators do not back Alden, and favor dismissing Alden for pushing through such a huge and costly contract without the approval of the Board as well as the other issues with Quin's firing.
