Duke Line

Over under comes in at 145....the guys down here are really excited about the game. They seemed relax enough on the plane ride down and hopefully we could keep duke from covering although it will be really tough. Sounds like they went through a tough week of practice we'll see how they do at the shoot around tomorrow before i throw out a predicted final.

I personally think our defense keeps Duke under 100, but they probably get around 85. I think I would take Bradley for sure to be within 28 (I was personally thinking in the 22-25 range). I am thinking the final score will be something like 61-83.

A little off topic, but North Carolina opens at -12 @ Evansville.... I feel as if the Butler win gave Evansville alot of credit.... deserved or not, well find out! (I would definitly take NC to cover at Evansville)

I just noticed that Duke is the only ranked team in the ACC, how strange is that? The ACC used to be the elite conference a few years ago, now they are like 2nd fiddle.

On a side note, I think Duke will rest many of the starters and play the deepest of bench players most of the game, just to give the players some mental rest before finals.

"The Braves are playing against a No. 1 team for the first time since 1972 when they lost at UCLA 73-38."

I suspect the results vs Duke tomorrow will be similar, although, in the shot clock era, don't know if BU will be able to hold Duke to 73 pts. Give the points and take Duke......

I'd rather not bet than bet on Bradley to lose.

That to me is silly. I bet Bradley alot simply because I follow the team and have some knowledge. I want BU to win every single game but I like to bet games and as I have typed before I have taken BU twice this year as a favorite and taken the points and won.

I am still kicking myself for not betting the EIU game, we were a 12 1/2 favorite.

Anyway, 28 is a lot of points but I am going to put a little on Duke simply because I think Bradley is going to have a real difficult time scoring into the mid 40's. That means if Duke can get to its average of 89 points they cover this number big time. Dukes point differencial is 23 points.

Staying away from the o/u tempting but Bradley just stuggles to much to score and I dont think Duke gets to the 100's.

I'll never understand how someone can bet against their team, in any circumstance. Pathetic, in my view.

There is a difference between being a fan and being realistic and making money.

But I have to ask why is it pathetic to bet against Bradley, my betting has ZERO effect on the outcome of the game? And Ill tell you what Ill gladly tear up a ticket to see Bradley win a game. Problem is I am smart enough to separate my passion for Bradley to look at a line on a game and decide if it is a good decision to bet the game.

I have for a very long time bet Bradley basketball simply because I follow the team very closely. If liking to gamble and gambling on my team is pathetic then Im pathetic... but I have cashed a lot more winnings then losings with Bradley. Oh and I have in the past played Bradley alot, this year its just been alot more profitable to take the dog if BU is the favorite.

Seriously....

We lost at Michigan St in the 06/07 season by 29.
We lost at Butler in the 07/08 season by 19.
We lost at Florida in the 08/09 season by 23.
We lost at Iowa St (and Mo St and Ill St) last year by 19.

I highly doubt we are gonna be any closer to Duke than any of those games.

I would be pleasently surpurized if we can score 40.

This has nothing to do with your post, but every time I saw that avatar of yours the shadow of her hand and cigarette looked like the muzzle and sight for an M-16. Kept thinking she was some kind of rebel. Lol.
