2026 and beyond recruits

Any word about Sean Register?
Nothing new to report. He has an offer from Bradley, but has not committed anywhere, yet. He returned to Eastern Florida State College after his visit and played Saturday Night against Hillsborough Community College.
EFSC won the game 94-79. Sean Register had 21 points on 10-15 shooting and 7 rebounds.

as noted elsewhere- Noah Williams - LINK
is visiting Bradley and altho not officially reported, if he's coming from juco in Kansas for a campus visit
it is a strong likelihood that he already has a Bradley offer.
Welcome Noah Williams.... first 2026 spring commit....
Bradley has at least one more open scholarship (Smith, Meta, Alex and Corey are all seniors)
but I have a suspicion we'll have an extra one or two......

Our staff is definitely now targeting talented guys, defensively minded who have college-ready physiques...
guys who are strongly self-motivated, constantly getting better and coming from winning programs.
Great job Coach Wardle and staff!

I would expect us to have at least 3 more openings and possibly 4.

I like these 5 players and hope we can get at least 3 of them, Register, Allen, Roman, Knowles and Garrett.
Williams is a great start.

Bradley is recruiting Matt Hampton, a 6'4" sophomore guard at Three Rivers College in Poplar Bluff, Missouri. He is averaging 17.9 ppg, 4.8 rpg, 5.1 apg, and shooting 55.9% overall and 33.3% from three. He's originally from Frisco, Texas.

Indiana State at UIC tonite
A win by UIC pulls them into a 3rd place tie with Bradley- and drops ISU to 5th place
UIC cruised easily to a big lead just before halftime
but halftime score-- UIC 41 - InSU 32 - UIC led by 20 with a couple minutes to go in the 1st half then InSU scored the final 11 points of the half

A couple new names-
2026 juco- Cedric Dixon- 6'3" sophomore shooting guard at Northeastern Oklahoma A&M College. He is from Tulsa, OK, and he initially committed to UMKC, but with the program planning to change their head coach, he has recently requested his release. In 11 games played, he is averaging 17.3 ppg, and shooting 50.8% overall, and 48.6% (54-111) from three. He has a slightly funky shot, but it goes in a lot.

2026 Landyn Colyer- 6'6" guard playing with the Overtime Elite program in Florida.

And an update on a 2026 juco recruit we posted about back in early November- McCaden Adams. He is a 6'4" guard who had only played 3 games at that time. Now his team, Snow College in Utah is 20-1 and has spent most of the season ranked #1 in the NJCAA poll. Adams leads the team averaging 18.7 ppg, and he shoots 40.0% from three.

Offer list on Landon Colyer is impressive.
very interesting that after numerous P-5 offers up thru last summer -
suddenly the offers he's getting are MTSU, Cal State-Northridge & UAlbany- teams that are
well over 100, 200 & even 300 NET.... so there's definitely more than meets the eye.

Some new names-

2026 Aaron Gashaw- 6'8" wing from Perth, Australia. He most recently played with the Willetton Tigers of the NBL, the top pro league in Australia.
He played at an Ontario, Canada prep academy in 2024-25-

2026 juco Tristan Hankins- 6'2" sophomore guard at Butler Community College in Kansas. He is originally from Moore, Oklahoma. He is averaging 17.9 ppg, 5.3 rpg, and 38.2% from three.

Williams is a great start.
Well, I'm not as hopeful on the Knowles front as I was. I was excited he might land close and I could continue to watch him. Sounds like the assistants liked him and there was a chance, but he still doesn't have an offer. Not sure what the deal was/is. Last I heard his D1 offers are Mo State, Green Bay, South Dakota St. and WIU.

Our staff is going hard after non-project big men....
Landing Thornbrue & Williams is a good start, but I'd love to get Register, Allen & Hunt, too.
After a few years of guys like Linke, Biliew and now Yu we can not afford more project big men.
Even Jonovic in his 4th season barely gives us 7ppg/5rpg, meanwhile even the bottom teams in the MVC
have guys that put up 12 pts/6 reb (Evansville's Turnbull), 12/6 (Valpo's Pettigrew) and 10/7 (SIU's Aligbe)
I have a suspicion that's the reason DI's are hesitant on Knowles.

Recall Illini Bluff's big man Taylor Bruninga who regularly put up 30ppg/15-20rpg in high school..... -- numbers even way more impressive than Knowles' stats --and how there were calls for Wardle to go hard after him, then he flamed out at ISU.

Bruninga and Knowles comp is hard to make. Bruninga was a class 1A player who was a very high usage. Knowles is in a different world athletically. But your point is well taken. IF Bradley doesn't have a vision for Knowles or isn't sure he fits then I wouldn't want him to land there. Bradley wouldn't want to waste a roster spot, and I can't imagine a recruit would want to end up somewhere they don't feel they could be developed. If Bradley is struggling to develop a productive big after 4 years, it probably isn't a good fit. The Alvey kid from Bluffs is at Lehigh and seems to be doing well, imagine he will be making $$$ in the portal this spring.

Bruninga and Knowles comp is hard to make. ...
time will tell...
at one of the restaurant/radio shows, there was a discussion of what kind of player Bradley is targeting..
and the main response was "must have college-ready body", a phrase I have heard one of the assistants use as well.

I like Allen for that reason, appears to be strong and a 6-8 player that rebounds and scores inside is a must as ISU"s Walker is 6-7. I am not sold on the 7ft. player because he is inconsistent.

I am a little intrigued with 2026 Aaron Gashaw - 6'8" wing played with the Willetton Tigers of the NBL, the top pro league in Australia. I know Wardle tall guys with length for disrupting the passing lanes and rebounding. He has a 7'0" wingspan. However, I don't know about his skills, but evidently Wardle has looked.

Maybe that's why they didn't go harder after Eoin Dillon in 2024. With a redshirt year at Belmont, he has developed into quite a weapon for them. He is one of the best pure shooters in the league. Eoin's 3-point percentage is at 48.6%. By comparison, POY candidate Tyler Lundblade is shooting 38.6% from three.

I would think Eoin will get some calls from P-5 schools offering more money. Casey Alexander sure knows how to recruit talented offensive players. His biggest problem is bigger schools end up poaching them.

one time Bradley recruit Aleks Alston from Chicago Kenwood commits to Maryland..
His recruiting rose to where he was getting multiple major offers, but there were questions about academics.
Watching Iowa (with Bennett Stirtz) at Maryland. Former BU recruit Aleks Alston plays a couple minutes at a time off the bench.
averages 1.8 ppg, hits 37% of shots. The only games he plays more than 3-4 min are the blowout losses Maryland
has a bunch of. He could be dominating at a mid-major, but this is the NIL era.
Wonder if he'll stay at Maryland... they've only won 2 gms in the Big Ten, battling for last place- definitely won't make post-season.

edit - FWIW, Maryland, only 2-10 in the Big Ten knocks off Iowa. Bennett Stirtz did everything - 13-21, 32 pts, 4 reb, 6 asst, but
nobody else stepped up. The rest of the team minus Stirtz was 12-38 overall & 3-18 from 3-pt. Alston never returned, played < 1 minute.
Iowa is now only 1 game ahead of 11th place USC at 8-6 in the Big Ten.
