Has any non-BCS conference made it to the Sweet 16 and beyond as often as the MVC?
Does any so-called Mid-Major Conference have the history and legacy that the MVC has?
Could it be that the big boys truly fear playing an MVC team in the post-season? (Ask Kansas, Pitt, etc..)
Obviously Butler had a couple nice runs while in the Horizon, but the MVC has put NUMEROUS teams into at least the Sweet Sixteen over the years and notably many times just since 1999
Bradley - Sweet 16 in 2006
Drake - Final Four in 1969, Elite 8 in 1970, Elite 8 in 1971
Indiana State - played in the Championship game in 1979, surprised Oklahoma and nearly got to Sweet 16 in 2001
Loyola - NATIONAL CHAMPIONS in 1963, Final Four and took home 3rd Place in 1964, Sweet 16 in 1985
Missouri State - Sweet 16 in 1999
Northern Iowa - Sweet 16 in 2010
SIU - Sweet 16 in 2002, Sweet 16 in 2007
Wichita State - Elite 8 in 1964, Final Four in 1965, Elite 8 in 1981, Sweet 16 in 2006, Final Four in 2103, Sweet 16 in 2015
Tulsa - Sweet 16 in 1994, Sweet 16 in 1995
