2026 and beyond recruits

We need to bring in power forwards and centers that can rebound. These are the areas we have struggled in these last 2 seasons. I would like to see a 6-9 inside player that can get us 8 rebounds a game or more and 10 points a game. There are lower level teams that have been able to find these type of players and supposedly Bradleys NIL money should be high enough to support these type of guys.

Malick Sene's rebound average of 11 per game would look promising.
Yes, and I suspect that is the main reason our coaches were interested in him. He is not much of a scorer. His 9 ppg are mostly putbacks, dunks, or layups, thus the FG% of 63%.. He's thin, but he's a good rebounder and has the size to do it at the D1 level.
Here is a video from a couple years ago when he was at Terra State, the smaller juco in Ohio.-

One more new recruit name-
2026 juco Noah Williams- 6'8" redshirt-freshman wing at Barton Community College in Kansas. He is originally from Sierra Canyon HS in Los Angeles, and he spent his freshman season at Cal State Northridge, where he redshirted. He is off to a good start for his college career. After 10 games, he is averaging 11.1 ppg, 7.4 rpg, and is shooting 44.3% overall and 38.2% from three. He is also described as "a GREAT defender".
He has 3 years of eligibility left.

Welcome, balldontlie92!
Yes, he was terrific at the Washington Kevin Brown Memorial Tournament of Champions, reportedly averaging 25.3 ppg and 13 rpg.
There's nothing official. He liked Missouri State and might have been leaning that direction from what I've heard, but they have been so bad and there are now rumors that Cuonzo Martin may not be there much longer. I think he's going to get more offers by waiting.
Stats are avail

And there are now reports that Knowles has picked up offers from Green Bay, Siena & poss one more

I follow Knowles pretty close. I just wondered where Bradley is at in regards to him. Last I knew he is still in touch but no offer. I thought there was a Bradley asst. at the TOC. Mo State and GB had assts there and have been making a push. SDST and WIU have been involved for a long time. I keep hearing a few bigger schools are inquiring but not sure how far that is going. I selfishly hope he stays a little more local but want see him find a good fit. I hadn't heard Siena, but I know SIU was in touch a while back as well.

Just wondering if Wardle keeps up on the situation with Lathan Somerville. He started out at Rutgers and has since transferred to Washington. Through ten games he is getting 16 minutes a game and averaging 5 pts a game. Has this issue dead or not. He transferred once and if things do not work out at Washington, could he be looking to go to another school. If that is the case he would be an immediate impact player with what we are losing after this year. Any thoughts on the matter or has this ship sailed and gone.

Dave, We need you to personally check into this situation. :)

Just kidding... There has been nothing said by anyone to suggest he would be interested in transferring again, though in today's environment, it could always be possible.

I highly doubt Somerville would come back for a lot less money. I am not sure if he would be the star everybody seems to project him to be in the Valley. Mike Shaw ring a bell for anybody?

Not sure if we are recruiting this guy but we oughta be…
Class of 2029 (just gonna be a freshman) Daniel Ruffin seen here in some impressive highlights playing summer ball. (Yes, son of …)
5-11 Peoria High freshman Daniel Ruffin with a dunk highlight playing varsity for the Lions, his dad's and his grandad's alma mater.

You have to look at it from both sides. He may be getting more money wise at Washington, but if it does not work out for him there, what good does it do him if he can't get enough playing time and get noticed. If by some chance he were to transfer to Bradley he would get less money for sure, but get greater attention if he ever gets the chance to play at the next level. Just ask Malevy Leons about this. Any other thoughts from others.

I would take Lathan in any way we could get him here. Unfortunately, I do remember Mike Shaw but I would not let those memories deter from having Lathan at BU.

Mike Shaw had a lot of injury problems
By the time he got to Bradley, he could hardly get up & down the floor. Not a fair comparison. A better comparison might be Darnell Brodie, who for 2 years didn’t get any respect nor playing time at Seton Hall, had nonexistent stats so transferred to Drake for his final seven seasons.
Sorry, Yoda, but I think you mean 12 seasons for Brody. Ask Tommy. He's kept track.

For anyone who doesn't recall... Mike Shaw was a terrific high school player at Chicago De la Salle HS, and a good kid. Here is a clip from his bio at Illinois listing some of his high school accolades-

De La Salle's all-time leading scorer ... Consensus Top-100 recruit averaged 13 points and 7.5 rebounds as a senior ... First-team All-State selection by the Associated Press (AP) and Illinois Basketball Coaches Association (IBCA) ... Second-team All-State by the Champaign-Urbana News-Gazette ... Special mention All-State by the Chicago Tribune ... All-Area by the Chicago Sun-Times ... Chicago Catholic League-North Division Co-Athlete of the Year ... Ranked No. 65 on the recruiting services consensus index, including No. 40 by Prep Stars and No. 59 by Rivals.com ... Averaged 14 points and nine rebounds as a junior ... First-team All-State by the IBCA, second-team All-State by the Sun-Times and News-Gazette, special mention All-State by the Tribune and honorable mention All-State by the AP as a junior.

He was highly recruited, but he never transitioned well to the college game at Illinois. That happens sometimes. He was a step slow, and his reactions were not quick enough to get much playing time in his two seasons at Illinois.
It seemed like a good move for Geno Ford to get him at Bradley, but by that point, he was hampered by a nagging back injury which made him even slower on the court, and unable to jump very well. After sitting out the 2013-14 season by NCAA transfer rules, he played in 31 games in 2014-15. But then prior to his final season at Bradley (2015-16), he retired from basketball due to his severe back issues.
