Many people will use stats to argue that BU should players should get more recognition for POY etc, but stats can be misleading often. SOmebody may be in top ten in scoring, but if points come after allowing a big deficit- are they as valuable? Especially if your team loses?

Example-

Last night, BU Shot 40.6 to 40% for InSU
BU shot 50% on 3's
BU won offensive and total rebounding
BU had more assists....
Had one player with a career high in points and another a career high in rebounds
And had a player with his 6th double double of the year.... and yet lost!!

This is why stats are often misleading... and besides, honestly- basketball is a team sport, so when we lose as a team, do these accolades mean much?

Congrats to the individuals on their accomplishments, but at the end of the day, it didn't help us win...

I mentioned the same stuff of the POY thread yesterday BM. In the end, BU is still fighting the same demons they have the past 7 seasons.

SSDD as the saying goes.

The rebounding is the most over rated stat. If we would of got out rebounded last night everyone on here would of have said that was the reason.
