I think he was probably the best choice for this role.

This is really phenomenal news for Bradley Basketball. I'm also really shocked that Scott would agree to this based upon what some were saying regarding the Les firing alienating many past BU players.
Maybe Scott really had no choice if he's indeed under contract through May? Maybe it was "suggested" that it was in his best interest to do as told while under contract if he wanted a good reference that would enable him to continue climbing the coaching ladder?

Yeah, either way though they picked a good person to take on this role under some very difficult circumstances. Plus I'm glad to see that the new coach can pick whomever he wants for his staff, at least according to what Cross told the PJ Star tonight.

I agree.... Great move by BU! Willie is probably closer to the players than anyone who's left. Let's hope he can hold this great group of guys together until the new coach arrives.
