Why wait?

DC, this is the right solution--should have happened seven years ago when he wanted it and was available. Some had a different agenda and it resulted in disaster.

Why wait?

I would support and vote for Brett Burchette, Asst. AD for External Affairs. He has a great background and resume, he is a midwesterner from Indiana, he has coached basketball, and most importantly of all, he listens.

Yes. Brett would be a good person for this position. Although he has been at east coast universities, he has family in Indiana and his wife is from the St Louis area. He has good people skills.

They will continue to lose $4-6 million per year on lost ticket revenues, lost maintenance fees, and lost donations if they do not change course immediately.
It seems like a no-brainer to just bit the bullet and buy out those that have to go. At least then, the revenue would start to trend back up immediately.

And a good young coach like Jerrance Howard would take the job for less than 1/3 what we are paying now.

Jerrance makes $300K at Kansas plus other perks. Do you think he would come to this raging tire fire for 1/3 of what Geno makes? Not hardly.

Certainly, people are free to speculate if they wish. But I have talked to people who know him well and I am certain he would take the Bradley job if it was offered. He would like to be a head coach. Nobody wants to be an assistant forever. But as I said, it would have to be a different administration. There is only one person who makes this a "raging tire fire". Everything else is here for the right coach to succeed.

The next President will be an Interim President. I hear the next BU President may be an esteemed graduate of Bradley who has national distinction, is a Retired Legislator, and has served his country with great respect. And it will all happen sooner than most think.....

This would be the greatest belated Christmas present ever. This person would bring back credibility back to the office of President. Having seen him recently he didn't want to answer any questions about it so this just might be (please, oh please) pretty soon.
