Why no discussion of the World Series?

I guess there aren't many Cardinal fans on this site...??

I am the lone Cardinal fan that I am aware of deep in 'enemy' territory-re Cape Cod.

Game 6 is tonight-I haven't given up hope.

Still, I was living in Connecticut and the lone Cardinal fan amongst Red Sox fans when the Sox swept my Cards in 2004.....it was not fun being the only Cards fan around that all those fans(mostly co-workers) had available to 'dump' on.....I would prefer a miracle that keeps me from going through a similar experience over the next few days....

you got me - seems the Cards fans only talk when they are winning

congrats to both teams but especially the Red Sox who have won 3 of the last 10 after nearly a century of frustration - plus they have done plenty to reverse the arrogance of the Yankees towards everyone else in the league

Just Cards fans? Been around any Cub fans when they win opening day or Bear fans when they win their first game. At least Cards fans actually have something to brag about. They make the World Series by winning once in awhile. There is hope for my White Sox. If the Red Sox can go from last to first you know it's possible.

I guess you could say the same thing about the Cubs. However, I think it will be three or four years until we might discuss them in these terms. They have some of the top talent in the minors. However, they are in the low minors.
