When???

percentage of games won, last three years. i'm giving us the win friday for the 07-08 stats.

2005-06 - 66.7% - 33 games played
2006-07 - 62.9% - 35 games played
2007-08 - 57.9% - 38 games played (will be on fri)

are we trending upward or downward? same information. many interpretations. either way, three winning seasons in a row = good.

This is almost a thread of its own, i don't think you can just look at numbers without also including other factors such as strength of schedule and injuries. But I am for three winning seasons in a row!

So is Babe Ruth's home run record still the one to beat? Because all the others who came later with more home runs did it by playing more games, so with this logic, they shouldn't be taken seriously.

i wanted to expand on the Ruth analogy a bit. Marris broke the record. he had the benefit of more games but the game changes. records must adapt with the game. a 22 win season is a good thing. three 22 win seasons ins a row is also a good thing. but using the current season with its 22 wins, doesn't make it a great thing. same way you can't use Marris' 61 home runs to say he was a better ball player than Ruth.

Please JMP, you are going to confuse folks with percentages and logic.!
Yes it is a "good" thing, but as you said, it is not a "great thing"!
Let's just make it 22, 3 years in a row. Which is very "good", but not "great" IMO
.
Go Braves.

I agree that everything shouldn't be picked apart, but there's no reason people shouldn't voice their opinions when they see holes in others' logic. What these people are saying about the 20 win seasons is correct. I would rather no one notice that aspect of it but it happens. Everything on this board can't be nice, bright, red Kool-Aid.

Well said.

I'll bet if someone says your wife looks good, you respond with
"yeah but only when she has makeup on"

Bradley has now won seven post-season tournament games (2-NCAA, 1-NIT, 4-CBI) over the past three consecutive seasons.
How about another WHEN question??
When was the last time that was accomplished??
