What’s the update on Duke?

Figured we would have heard some news about Duke by now. If he is not ready to go for the Santa Clara game, then hope by the next game he is ready to go. Bradley will have a good chance to win in Nevada, but a little more difficult without him. Jaquon will get extended minutes. He has the qualities to be able to handle it. Just be patient with the occasional mistakes with being a freshman.:)

Duke tells Jim Mattson "there's no doubt he will play Saturday". - https://x.com/hoijim/status/1866900393906802722

As we learned from Henry you need to be careful with concussion cases. I hope he truly is good because we need him for the end of the season.

As was just mentioned about being careful with Duke. In the upcoming game Saturday, if the game is in hand then limit his minutes somewhat. Better safe than sorry. Jashon Henry was mentioned. Anyone have any info as where he is at now and what he is up to.:)

Obviously he still needs to be cleared in order to play.

Correct.... All schools must follow the NCAA-approved concussion protocol, which says:
As required by NCAA Independent Medical Care legislation, team physicians and athletic trainers shall have unchallengeable autonomous authority to determine medical management and return-to-activity decisions, including those pertaining to concussion and head trauma injuries, for all student-athletes.

So, once the concussion protocol is initiated, the decision to return to playing is not really Duke's to make, He must be cleared by the medical team, which follows the medical protocol.

If anyone is interested, here are links to what the protocol consists of:
