WEEK video from last nights gala...........

I loved watchin' the replays, but the video is horrible IMO. I've seen so many that've been better produced by people I would expect to be less experienced than WEEK.
 
I think I have identified BU's new mascot...he's the guy twirling the pom-poms wearing the cape at the 3:32 mark of the video. He's a perfect representation...unbridled, unwavering enthusiasm, yet with a hairline resembling the aging fan base...we can call him 'Captain Brave'...just an idea.

If anything, it's better than a clock!

I whole heartedly agree. Looks like they threw this together in about 15min. C'mon WEEK, you're better than that.

Did I see a clip of the Michigan State game in there? I'd rather just forget that catastrophe.

I liked it but definately would have picked some different music for the background. As for the MSU highlight, that may have been the only three Lavin hit all year, and as much as that game sucked, there's nothing wrong with giving him some props.

WEEK paid to be the main sponsor of the banquet, and a big WEEK banner was right behind the podium.

That gave WEEK's Josh Simon the opportunity to do the video, and I think he did a pretty good job.

I think they spent too much time on emphasizing BU's 3-pointers, and didn't show anywhere near enough defensive highlights, or fast break highlights.

And although most of them were in there, unless you watched really close, you hardly noticed some of the Braves'
"Signature" plays from this past season.

--Will's buzzer beater to beat SIU
--Zach's rebound slam off a missed Danny Adams three
--Will's buzzer beater in the MVC Tourney
--a few of Zach's flips (none were in the video)
--some of DRuff's pick and roll assists for slams
--DRuffs head to head play against Eric Maynor in the ESPN BracketBuster
--some of DA's floor burn plays
--JJ's 17-rebound game
--and just about any other highlights from the big win down at Redbird Arena

hardly any of this stuff was in the video, as it was mostly just 3-point shot highlights.

Nothing wrong with giving Lavin some props. I watched it over the web and couldn't tell that it was Lavin that was shooting and just saw the score at the bottom of the screen.

Other than the "Magic 3" music the rest didn't seem to fit and I got bored watching the same 3 pointer re-rep-rep-repeated time and time again. Not impressed at all.

I don't know what all the complaining is about. Yes, I would have liked to see Will's shot against SIU, and maybe a little more focus on some of the other high points of the season, but take it easy. I liked the video.
 
Just watched it.....no complaints here. Out of 10 minutes they had a two minute stretch of 3's. Since it was probably what defined us this year I don't thuink it was too much.

Well done....
