I went to the game....here's a quick analysis.
Matt Roth: He made 9-14 threes, which is rediculous. Many of these were from 2-3 ft beyond the arc. He rarely went inside, I bet he only had one or two shots inside the arc. He still scored 33 pts and was very very impressive. Anytime limestone got close to coming back, Roth would nail a three and the crowd would go nuts.
Dyricus Simms-Edwards: He had a relatively quiet 24 pts. He would drive to the hoop and the dish it to either Roth or Worner and that led to a lot of scoring.
Donavine Stewart: He scored a very quiet 45. He had the ball in his hands most of the game. He is clearly very talented, but everytime he had the ball he got fouled and shot free throws. He had to have at least 20 in the game, if not more. He missed a couple but shot fairly well from FT. He could take it in and get the hoop at will most of the time. If people collapsed on him, he would always find an open teammate for an easy score. He is really good and Bradley needs to go after him hard. I can beleive he's a freshman, he's even got a tatoo.
It was a very entertaining game. Limestone pressed the whole time which was annoying and led to a lot of turnovers and fast break pts for washington.
