I hope he catches on elsewhere -
his NBA career was not very long but he averaged 14.3 ppg with the Bulls and has an NBA career 3-pt shooting pct of 50%

Those numbers seem to be pretty good for a really bad team. Think they are missing the boat.

Walter is good enough to play in the NBA....at most he is just an injury away from someone needing a back up PG!

Interesting rumor this morning - just rumor.....
that the Bull would trade Dunn for draft picks then re-sign Walt

Walt is still with the Bulls' Summer League team, he played sparingly last night
and had 4 pts, 1 reb, 2 steals

well, the Bulls are not going to retain Walt Lemon, Jr., and since the Bulls Summer League team lost Saturday,
they are done and Walt will have to look for another team that can use his skills. He may end up in the G-League again
but I hope he gets another shot on an NBA roster.

In Saturday's game, just to show that the Bulls weren't serious about even considering Walt's abilities...
the box score shows that the Bulls' ENTIRE BENCH of Obi Enechionyia, Rodney Purvis, Perrion Calandret,
Jonathan Holmes, Tyler Hall, Shaquille Harrison, Marques Townes ,Justin Simon AND WALT LEMON
combined for 59 minutes off the bench BUT SCORING just five baskets!!
But Walt played just SIX of those minutes and accounted for THREE of them plus a rebound and an assist!
He played ONE TENTH of the bench minutes and produced the majority of the bench production!!
Good luck Walt - fans are still following you!
