VCU/Kansas

41-27 VCU at the half! Self looks like he could chew nails as he was going off the court. I imagine it'll be a x-rated locker room chat for the Jayhakws.
 
I hate Kansas with a passion. Mostly because of their entitled whiny fans. Anything like this that makes them cry is music to my ears. Hopefully VCU has the energy to keep this up.

Anyone know how times any #1 seed has failed to reach the final four? Has there every been a time when no #1 seed made the elite 8?

There was no #1 in the Final Four in 2006 when Florida won the title. My research says the only other time that happened under the current seeding format was 1980.

What a game! VCU up 9 with 3 and a half to go, but still plenty of time for Kansas to come back. But they don't seem like they have desire to do so as they can't seem to shoot a beach ball into the ocean the last five minutes or so.
 
VCU didn't need that quick 3. Take some time off the clock and get a good shot. VCU leads 63-57 with 2:28 left
 
The only downside to all of this is that it comes down to VCU vs Butler. I want to see VCU vs Butler for it all :twisted:

(I feel like Butler deserves it more though)
