UNI Rumor

but during the playing season teams should have solid rules...in by midnite and NO alcohol at all during the season!

SIU players are allowed to drink.

We went down to the DALE for last year's game and we encountered players, drinking in a bar after the game.

If a player is of-age, I don't have a problem with them drinking. Just don't drive. And realize that anything that happens to you affects more than just you...

They were talking about the suspensions for Egleseder and Stinnett during a TV timeout in the WSU-MSU game just a bit ago

I'm not sure about this yr but I know last yr Bradley had a curfew of 11pm during the weekdays. They had an Assistant Coach go to all players buildings and make sure they were in the room. Course, nothing can stop them from leaving after the 11pm curfew and possibly may not be caught.

Also, this DUI was in Black Hawk County, IA as the jails arrest records are online. Doesn't say a time or street address the incident happened at though.

JE's father was at the game yesterday so if they did stay here, maybe he used his car? Just speculation so this may get deleted but I remember seeing his dad there in the section behind the bench.

Yeah I spoke with JE's dad for a few minutes when I ran into him. Very jolly guy! I assume he was upset, but was gonna be friendly nonetheless. I said sorry if the student section gave them to much crap and he hopes to see us sunday in STL...I can't wait for that.

yeah i'm sure the rules are still in effect. I'm not going to say anything but maybe curfew is broken frequently....

Eh really? I live right next to a few of the key players and I can easily recall a number of times they were enjoying a thirsty thursday whether it'd be clear they were going out or actually coming into my building to a party that was going on lol

I remember Andre the Giant could out-drink any man alive

On a different note, I'm hearing speculation that he could miss 3 games.

Three games? Didn't TB get two games for "slugging" someone over the summer?

That's VERY disappointing if UNI only gives him a three game suspension! Oh well.......I guess POY's get that sort of treatment?

Now this is really unfair to associate this with the Bradley incident you are referring to.

Let me remind you - THERE WAS NO DUI by any Bradley player!
Big difference.

yeah, the difference is our president would have stuck her nose in the issue and made sue he was suspended for the rest of the season. A DUI is surely worse than being caught at a party for underage drinking, but yet, that player got a 2 game vacation earlier this year. 3 games for a DUI is a little lenient though in my book...5 seems more appropriate

Kansas gave Morningstar 9 games!!!!!

I guess they knew they had enough star power without him.
