I don't know why I keep expecting that the NCAA Selection Committee will someday be equitable in their treatment of BSC and non-BSC teams. This year's committee certainly proved to be a pawn of the BSC. It is getting worst wach year now.

He just said they don't take into account conference rpi ratings...I don't know, sometimes the guys doesn't sound very smart.

I can't believe that with the head of the committee being from George Mason that VCU didn't get in. I guess after Mason won their tournament, he didn't care about the rest of his mid-major brethren.

Representatives from their respective conferences have to leave the room when their conferences are being discussed.

We all know that.... but, if one is on the committee and the head is from a BCS school, maybe the peer pressure (while they are outta the room) influences other committee members. So on the flip-side, maybe members didn't feel pressure... or they felt the in-room BCS pressure.

Or perhaps they simply thought VCU didn't have the resume to be included in the field. I'm not saying that's what they did, but that's a pretty logical theory.
