The snow has started

Several years ago we got 14 inches and many of the streets were impassable but the game was played and there were a lot of no shows but the game was not against Ill.St., the snow plows have done a great job in Peoria since they went to the new plan of assigning routes so if we do get 8 inches I believe our roads will be in good enough shape to get us safely to the game.

Or he would walk to Par-A-Dice and play CRAPS like he did last time BU played ISU (last week he was spotted at the boat around midnight rolling the bones).

That makes sense. He's seemingly unable to pay court costs and fines, but has the extra money to gamble?

Not much snow in Peoria area.........roads are clear and should be good to go for the game.

Weathermen are always wrong.

I am going to disagree with you 100%... They have said repeatedly that the most significant snowfall is expected to fall OVERNIGHT, with blowing and drifting tomorrow afternoon thru wednesday morning. I feel it is a bit premature to call the weathermen wrong before the storm was even predicted to start...

The roads are getting sloppy. It took me almost 30 minutes to drive from Glen and Grandview back to campus. Everything but main intersection have about an inch of snow and it's icy in spots.

The worst is yet to come and should start in the early morning hours (3-4am). Perfect timing. Snow days for everyone (don't forget Richwoods this time around). Ample time for pregame festivities and if the snow takes a break in the afternoon there will also be ample time to clear the roads for everyone to come watch BU stomp out ISboooo!!! Could we ask for a better scenario?

5-8 inches really isn't that bad in the city as long as the plows make their rounds non stop. It's the country/rural folk that will probably have troubles. With the winds picking up tomorrow afternoon, it's going to make quite a few rural roads very treacherous to impassable. I-74 might be ok but i'm not sure I would want to risk my life to drive 1-2 hours when the game is on TV. If anything, it will probably mean less ISU fans LOL.

Just got into work a few minutes ago....roads are not that bad....give yourself plenty of time and you'll make it to the game without to many problems.

As I said last night, no real storm at all.

All schools still on for the day except schools out in the country

There is at least 7-8 inches in my neighborhood- JD... Well if you add up 3 or 4 yards... lol

Now what am I going to do with all these provisions?
