The only thing worse.....

Their coach must be worse than JL to lose to that team!

Yeah, because tonight was just a one-off fluke of a home game. This never happens. Hasn't happened this year, nor in the previous 7.

How many NCAA's has Marshall been to? He'll be finishing higher in his 3rd year than we ever have in 8 years of this regime. I'm sure there's a reason for that though.

Just saying......he was clearly outcoached.

Might have been, but he's 20-6 this year, and has been to 7 NCAA Tournaments. I'd be willing to give a guy more leeway if we had that to fall back on.

Yes....I'm sure he'll make his case to the selection committee that this was just a fluke and they'll completely understand that he is still one of the top coaches in the country and deserves a shot.

That "fluke" just showed that his team is not good enough to make the tournament. I don't think the selection committee will look at it as a "fluke" and give him a pass.

I thought we were talking about whether or not Marshall was better than JL, not if they were going to dance. I said that maybe he (Marshall) did get outcoached, but I am more willing to give a guy a pass if he's 20-6 and has been to 7 NCAA's in the past than a guy who's been to 1 NCAA, never finished higher than 4th, and never lost less than 11 games in a season. You then went on some tangent about Marshall making the tournament. Not sure where that came from.

Should set up a good game in Peoria with two teams trying to avenge poor performances. WSU trying to regain NCAA Tournament hopes and BU trying to avoid a play in game.

On another note, Marshall or JL, hmmmmm tough call. ;)

Ned Cox missed a jumper with 0:06 left.

JT Durley was fouled and only made 1 of 2.

Evansville ball, down 58-56, with 0:04 left in the game.
