Status of SM and TB

I can assure you that by next fall we will not be one scholarship over the limit. These things always have a way of being taken care of.

What will I do with all this extra money? It shouldn't be difficult to free up a scholarship from a team with less than 10 wins.

I'd be very surprised if JP leaves. I agree that DSE, WL, and JP are the most valuable pieces right now. It would hurt to see them leave after a year or two of improvement.

Not true- I don't think there is anything specific known other than the scholarship situation will even out by next year. It always does.

It's obvious that at least one, likely more, of the players on our current roster will not be back next year. After sitting on the bench for an entire year when the team is in dead last, would you want to come back? Or do you think you may realize you'd be much better off elsewhere?
 
On a recent coaches shown JL said "you could say he (AD) still qualifies for a redshirt"
And before the last game, Reynolds mentioned that AD was attending to academic issues.
Not sure what it all means, but how can you have academic issues at the beginning of a semester, unless he was finishing a minimester?

well, if AD is not dressed and sitting on the bench tonight, then I think DR needs to do a little more digging ad get the truth..

Great point and what a short memory we have. After JC's Soph year so many wanted him to leave because he was so bad and would never contribute but oh what a sweet last 2 seasons he had @ BU.
Give the kids a chance to prove themselves before thowing them under the bus.

Where did anyone "throw them under the bus"?
Because it was stated that JP, DSE, and WL "aren't superstars"? I hardly consider that "throwing them under the bus".

Why are my posts being deleted???? It was a simple question, not a rumor or anything.
 
Our rules do not allow speculation about players leaving based on unfounded rumors. Right now there is no official news about any players leaving, and all the similar rumors over the last couple years have been wrong. Such rumors can have harmful effects on players and recruiting, especially when they are as wrong as recent rumors have been.

All I asked is if AD is on the team, how is that a rumor?? It's a question, either he is or he isn't. It's not a rumor or speculation. If somebody doesn't know the answer they can say that, but I don't see how asking if someone is on the team is a rumor?
 
Nothing wrong with the question- but several posts went further with the unfounded speculation. maybe your post was removed because it quoted one of those. As of now, AD is still part of the team.

I don't think I quoted anything, but I suppose it is possible I forgot that I did. Anyway, I just wanted to make sure it wasn't my question. I didn't see where the thread went after my post.

I am/was hoping to get to see AD in the future, he sounds like a nice big man. I was hoping he could develop like JP did last year. We could use another nice big man for next year even if TB and SM return.

Like many others I agree we will most likely not have trouble finding a spot for SM. I'm really hoping TB comes back healthy next year, that will make a huge difference.
