Ok, here's an easier poll...


Who should be starters for the Wofford game?



My five would be:

Egolf
Brown
Roberts
Warren
DSE (like Sammy, but DSE deserves the start)

I know AT hasn't earned a start, but I want us to go big just once to see what happens and this would be the game to do it!

Forget about a bigger lineup because Les was asked the question of the possibility of Egolf and Singh or Egolf and Thompson being on the floor at the same time and his response was neither of those 3 players are performing well enough to deserve more time and he is not happy with the numbers they have produced at the center position.

Well none of them will do anything if they don't get any touches...if he doesn't understand that then I'm giving him way too much credit as a coach
 
Our guards create enough garbage (missed shots). If our bigs would actually rebound and attack the basket, they'd have plenty of offensive opportunities..

Well, lets hope BU can recruit someone who can play the 4/5. Looks like other lessor known mid majors find them! Look at the centers/forwards who have shredded BU inside - including the last two post season tournaments BU has played in.

Obviously you're missing the point...when you play 6'9, 6'4", 6'4" across the front line against 7'0", 6'9", 6'6" you aren't going to outrebound them and it's that much worse with a Sam Singh who doesn't rebound in the games

But here's the point...


WHY would a big want to come here when they're constantly abused and misused by the coaching staff?

I can point out that if he were at UNI, Creighton, or SIU, Will Egolf would be used properly in the offense and I may be a little biased, but I believe he's better than Fay or Carter and could be every bit as good as Koch IF he were only used properly.

Even without DD we're still pretty deep at guard with scholarship players. One more guard injury and if coach les still doesn't want to put more big guys on the floor at the same time then maybe he sees limited minutes...still not many though.
