So how bout that...

Fair enough, but by your view shouldn't Jim Molinari still be the coach?

Well I'm not sure how I said that, although I'm sure some kind of mediocrity loving quote is coming. I see a program that has a super bright future coming up as soon as next year and beyond, and a program that has a lot of energy. I have nothing against Molinari, he was a decent coach and I'll support whoever our coach is cause I want us to win, but I don't think it was the same energy around the program. Like it or not JL is the only coach to make the Sweet Sixteen with Bradley in 50 some years. And no that wasn't a "fluke", it was a good team. That is quite an accomplishment. I followed Bradley before, but it was when I met JL as a young kid that I decided to become a big Bradley fan and became hooked. His energy and dedication about Bradley and him being a nice guy really made me love Bradley basketball. I think that is the same energy a lot of people love about him!

Who has said having a good season next year is a bad thing? Got any evidence of that?

This is a quote from Bradley Brave last night:

"So we get a 'next season', and it's a good one. Then Sam, Dodie, AW, all graduate. We're right back to mediocrity again, with excuses. Not sure what we're afraid of here. Other coaches have been fired for having more success than our current coach. All indications point to a losing league record after 8 seasons, with zero top 3 finishes. Most coaches wouldn't get 8 season with that rate of success."

He made it sound like having a good next year would be bad for the program. Even good seasons are bad haha

I don't think anyone has said Jim Les isn't a nice guy. I think you are mistaken about the "energy" which is subjective anyway, but to each their own. I sure remember going to games in 1995-1996-1997 that were absolutely electric.

Winning brings energy and electricity to Carver Arena.

I'm beginning to see that ANY positives are "flukes" and any negatives are JL's fault. People will point out that the entire coaching staff spends entire timeouts either watching the video board or the timeout contests. This is only brought up as one of the reasons we lost, but it doesn't seem to affect the other half of our games? I guess they didn't do any of that against Missouri State or any of the other wins.

Was there that same energy by the last couple years though? I still think there is with JL right now.

No, there wasn't. And he got fired. There isn't much energy there now either. Fans are quiet, they leave early, etc. But "energy" is pretty subjective and tough to honestly gauge.
