I'm told Coach Lowrey is in Chicago today.. trying to sign their top two 2010 Prospects..

1-Mike McCall Position: Point GuardHeight: 6'1" High School: Chicago ForemanClass: 2010 Blazing-quick with the basketball. A stellar penetrator who also drill three's, and actively looks to get all of his teammates involved. Will lead a Chicago Foreman team that will enter the season with lofty expectations.
2-Phillip Jackson Position: Power ForwardHeight: 6'8" High School: Chicago Hyde ParkClass: 2010 An athletic power forward who is capable of impacting games on both ends of the floor. Best basketball is still likely ahead as his frame adds weight and muscle.

I am familiar with both these kids a little.
Phillip Jackson is a bit of a project, thus the reason for so few offers and the 1-star rating-

Mike McCall is really more of a 2-guard who is a streak shooter, and can get to the basket well. But he is probably a little shorter than the 6'1" he's billed as (closer to 5'11"). Bradley and ISU are also interested in McCall.

Rick Majerus was reportedly at the McCall home yesterday for a visit. If this is true, it's because Majerus is pretty persuasive when he wants a kid.

lots of available playing time because of the players getting booted at SLU....hopefully McCall can stay long enough to enjoy the city
