The Showdown in St. Pete, November 11-14, 2026, has released some additional information for fans.

I will be getting more information from the tournament organizers about games, tickets, and fan travel packages and will post it, probably tomorrow.
From what I am hearing, there is a lot of interest among Bradley fans, as well as fans of the other schools. So we hope Bradley can have the biggest fan contingent, like we usually do.

I 've learned more about the The Showdown in St. Pete, and we will be posting more information about fan packages and tickets.

As can be seen on the event schedule in my previous post, events start on Wednesday, Nov. 11 (Veterans Day) with the first game between Florida A&M and UMKC at 12:00 noon. Hundreds of tickets have been distributed to area Veterans for that game.
But of more interest to Bradley fans, there is a big reception event that Wednesday, Nov. 11- Show Up Before the Showdown, at Ferg's Sports Bar from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm for fans. There will be a lot of Bradley fans there. Ferg's is a huge sports bar, restaurant, and entertainment facility and they will have a special area for Bradley fans.

Fans will need to make their own travel arrangements to get to Florida, but there are several airline options to get from the Peoria Airport to Tampa International or to St. Pete-Clearwater International. Those two airports are only a little more than 10 miles apart, and both are less than 20 miles from the host hotel, the Hilton St. Petersburg Bayfront, which is the team hotel.
The Showdown in St. Pete fan packages will have a discounted room rate for fans. The website will be updated soon with more information about these fan hotel, ticket, and transportation packages.

For Peoria area fans, United Airlines, American Airlines, and Delta Airlines all have daily flights from Peoria to Tampa International.
And, Allegiant Airlines has a flight from Peoria in the morning of Thursday, Nov. 12, which will get to the Clearwarter/St. Pete airport around noon. That will allow for fans to get to their hotel, and have time to make it to arena. The Bradley-Coppin State game starts at 6:00 pm. The Allegiant return flight is on Sunday, Nov. 15, so fans will be able to see and enjoy the entire tournament. And with the off-day on Friday, Nov. 13, there is time to enjoy the St. Pete area. There is a Happy Hour celebration at Ford's Garage in the St. Pete Waterfront District, just a block from the Hilton Hotel.
I recommend making travel arrangements as soon as possible.

The McArthur Center (McArthur Physical Education Center) at Eckerd College in St. Petersburg, Florida, does not use a traditional fixed-seat digital seating chart because it is an intimate college gymnasium rather than a large arena.

Venue and Seating Layout

• • Facility Type: Campus athletic gymnasium housing the James R. Harley Court.
  • Seating Capacity: Total capacity is approximately 1,400 spectators.
  • Configuration: Seating consists primarily of standard telescopic pull-out gymnasium bleachers located along the sides of the main basketball and volleyball court. There is no permanent upper deck, reserved section naming, or complex tier system.
  • Admission & Ticketing: General admission tickets typically apply for Eckerd Tritons basketball games, meaning specific seat and row numbers are generally not assigned.

Yes. the McArthur Center is small and has a capacity is 1,400. It is bleacher type seating for most of it.
It will be different for this event. There are platform areas above the stands where tables and additional seating can be set up. And there is room at either end for a small number of courtside seats. Most of the regular seating will be general admission, but there will be a VIP section for fans who choose the VIP Fan Package, with reserved chair seating, along with food, drinks, and unlimited alcoholic beverages.
