Scott Sutton anyone?

About the same result as people who attack others for not conforming...

Jack squat!

not sure who is being attacked for not conforming or even what we are to be conforming to...but JL is gone and why we still see the need to drag him through the mud is beyond me...why?

Is it so the folks that wanted JL gone can keep boasting and reminding others how bad he was...again I ask why?

And lastly this is a terrible comparison...TB and SM potential all conference vs ORU guys that don't start or have very little impact.....that is just plain nuts...

Ken Pomeroy has Oral Roberts non-conference SoS at 44

Gee, on the one hand, massive statistical analysis that shows that ORU had a good schedule

or

tornado's claim that it was a weak SoS

I'm not sure what to believe

I forget, is kenpom's SoS numbers based on record or his own efficiency numbers?

Hinson's a good coach but, if memory serves, he never made the NCAA tourney once as coach of Missouri State, right?

I'd have no problem at all with Scott Sutton. Have you checked out his conference record at ORU? Holy smokes - 136-58 (.701). Pretty hard to argue with that, even if The Summit League isn't the MVC. In the last eight seasons, he's finished 1st four times, 2nd three times and third once. A winner.

Come on! Did you forget he did finish in the top 3 quite a few more times than Les did? How come Hinson still get flack for not making the NCAA Tournament when he was screwed out of the tournament twice by the committee? How is it that his fault?

Well it sounds like Sutton schedules tough, but that's a bit easier in the Summit League where most of their teams our early season fodder for the BCS boys.

That said though, I think Sutton would be a good choice as he has finished in the top 3 of the Summit League 9 of the last 10 seasons. Plus three trips to the Big Dance certainly would qualify him as a very good coach too.
