Salley Rumor??

I was speaking to someone on the game day staff and they told me that Matt Salley may not be back next year. Can anyone confirm if this is true? I repeat this is not a source that I would consider "in the know," but they must have a reason to say this.

I have heard nothing like this, and I hear a lot. Hopefully it's not true, Matt Salley is an important piece to next year's puzzle.

In the clip the other day in the PJ Star Jim said that all other current roster players would be back? I would be shocked if Salley did not come back, he would be a Senior and transfering would be almost impossible.

I would hope not and mexico is right, it would be next to impossible for him to transfer. But then again maybe there is some basis because no one seems to concerned with this, lets hope your friend meant Saihoo, and not Salley.

BU had a kid quit years ago, Mathew Lee, with eligibility remaining. He, if I recall, wanted to concentrate on studies. So MS could quit without "worrying" about ever playing hoops again.

The thing that would surprise me though is that if you quit you would lose your scholie. Thats tossing out some major dollars.

With that said I have NO scoop on MS...just offering one scenario or reason. HOPE MS stays.

Breathing a little easier since no one seems to know anything. I hope it is not true as well and that MS will play a major role in the teams success as expected.
