Seems like we struck out on several better coaches and scrambled to find someone. Head coaching experience wasn't one of my qualifications. Just my opinion though - which doesn't count for much.
 
and he's no Geno Auriemma...he's had some decent D-I experience..and his teams win 20 games despite limited talent -- so all we need now is one more stud recruiter!
 
if the tweets are true, then i too will support ford. i like what's he's done in a short period of time at ksu. hopefully, we'll hear from bu admin soon.
 
don't know if they're true, but it's the first candidate where the early news & tweets did NOT say he was turning BU down!!
If he was interviewed and let's say accepted -- there'd be a customary interval -- several hours or so for him to inform his family, his players, and his incoming recruits..
so if we are in that interval there might only be a few cryptic tweets from news that would leak out from a player or someone...
 
Would love an 8am press release... or leak something to the press tonight to get printed and inform the area in the morning...

Will be interesting. SO READY for someone to be in place. This guy seems like he's worth a shot. While he may not have been doing it very long, everything he has done seems to be pretty good. Let's hope it translates.

rumor also has GF checking out Fresno State but unless he's got no clue I kinda know who's #1 on his list...

Well, better to scramble to find this guy than someone who has not been proven yet.
 
I see nothing wrong with this hire and will be 100 percent behind him. He has won the conference two years in a row so he can coach. Get him on campus and let him talk to Remy asap. Its all good folks, get behind him!!!!!!
 
According to the Bradley University FB update, they have hired him as a coach and press conference tomorrow at noon.

A "top tier" coach is not coming to BU no matter which way you look at it PERIOD. I love BU basketball but you have to realize where you stand in the NCAA basketball food chain and Bradley is no where near top tier right now. And if you think other wise, well.....

My bad! I meant to say that it probably wouldn't be in that $700k range. But I would think it would be more than the $300k he earned at Kent St.
