Reynolds: Coaching search...

I will support whoever is hired as I ALWAYS have...
but there are cases where coaching hires go from bad to worse...

Will you support Dane Fife if he's hired in the same unabashed way you supported his predecessor? Yes or no question.

Also, is that an admission that Jim Les was a bad hire? Yes or no question.

yes I have answered that -- I will support the new hire no matter who it is -- I always have and always will with my actions, my time, my attendance, and my MONEY (no small matter as I am putting more kids thru college than the new head coach is gonna have on his roster next year!) -- unlike a whole lot of the JL-haters and the people who trashed him recently...

and JL was an excellent hire that has and will benefit Bradley and all BU fans whether they want to acknowledge it or not...
well, well into the future...getting the immaculate facilities builts, funds raised, Sweet Sixteen, great and quality players, etc...
Jim Les was a Great hire and I have no clue why you'd ever ask me that....but I won't bother to ask you that quesiton as I know it's only going to lead to more of the same thing I just cited...fans who display their lack of loyalty to their own team by bashing their own people....

Fair enough. Thanks for the honest answers. For what it's worth, the amount one donates isn't a true measure of what kind of fan they are. But I digress.

Regarding your last sentence - What would you call the people who have been ripping Glasser and Cross relentlessly the last week and a half? 'Stockbroker from California', 'Fundraiser from Towson', 'Administrator from Princeton'. Aren't they all 'our own people'? Why is it OK to slam some, but protect others unconditionally?

Agreed BB. Many, myself included, debated JL's quality as a coach. But I never said I hated him or any other University employee.

Now it seems open season on the AD and Prez or any candidate on here.

I agree -- not the amount -- but the degree of sacrifice it takes to give whatever amount IS one of the strongest determining factors in one's fanship
I have done everything in my power to help tone down the personal criticsms -- I feel the actions are fair game for discussion

Maybe, maybe not. People show their fandom in several different ways. Many volunteer their personal time. Others work for the university. Money is certainly a way to support the school and program, but their are crappy fans who donate a lot and great fans who don't donate a dime. I don't think there's a true measuring stick personally.

And agreed, their actions and the impending results over the next few years will be subject of scrutiny and could very well be the subject of criticism - As well they should be.
