Props to Dave Reynolds on his reporting!!!

Reynolds reported on April 18th:
Davis' departure frees up one scholarship and the impending release of Mormon missionary Sean Harris would open another.

The two roster openings will likely be filled by two recruits who visited campus this past weekend -- 6-2 guard Jalen Crawford of Detroit and Impact Academy prep school and 6-7 forward Shayok Shayok of Ottawa, Canada and IMG Academy.

Great job Dave! Keep up the good work!

It is good to see a renewed energy in the PJS coverage of BU hoops.
BNC please don't take this wrong but you just don't seem to get what was wrong . The problem WAS not with the Star. The problem is gone and has become very evident to most hence the good communications between BU staff and DR.

I wasn't blaming anyone for anything. I'm just saying, the enthusiastic articles and coverage is refreshing and good to see.

Try again.

Kudos to Dave! The BU reports and recruiting coverage lately have been fantastic!

Dave has always been the "lesser of the two evils" over there, for lack of a better term. But it's too bad it took a coaching change for Dave and the rest of the PJ Star to actually do what a news outlet is supposed to do. Let's hope this trend continues!

Disagree. I think the problems probably cut both ways and built over time. Let's hope the current relationship stays good as WE are the ones who benefit. :)

Dont you think that there could be something to that.....

No doubt there was. Even the most ardent JL supporter will admit that. But it goes both ways. It shouldn't be an excuse for allowing personalities or agenda to change the way the newspaper covers news.

I congratulate the PJ Star and DR for their great coverage now. Please let's move on. We are not going to allow this discussion to degenerate into the same kind of argument that is destructive to the purpose of this forum, and that is to support Bradley basketball.

Well said DC....

Very well said.

It's definitely great to see the top-notch coverage in the PJS and great to see that the new staff is willing to be much more open and forthright with information. I think everyone benefits this way.

Now we getting closer to the real problem. Well said

This is not entirely true. There were issues on both sides. Bradley fans deserved better.

I would think the division started rather innocent and built over time. I think it probably got to a point where neither side trusted the other. I'm sure both sides had their moments that contributed to the escalation of the spat.
