Ok so, we've talked about the pregame video for the last couple years...and I hadn't noticed this on here yet.

But...how do you guys feel the newest videos do at pumping up our crowd?

I happen to like the video before the ligths go out - the whole 1 tradition thing. It does look a little amateurish though.

The video after the lights go out - the one that is supposed to get us all jacked up...kinda falls short IMO.

Maybe its the music...I think its the crummy video board (that look even crummier when compared to the new LED court surrounds)...I dunno.

I think the video itself is the weakest one we've seen for 2 reasons.

1. The images on the video itself do not pump up the crowd. At all. Listen/look around at the crowd during the video and it seems that people are viewing it with indifference.

2. The music is "beaty" but isn't really psych up music. The music last year really seemed to get the crowd going (especially the students).

I've had this discussion with a few different Bradley fans and although a couple of them disagreed, the general opinion was that they liked last year's video more...and the one from 2 years ago was good, but too long.
 
The best video IMO was the one showing the previous players and certain plays and when they had a former player announce things right before that...


Gives a nice pop to a former player and the team.


And something desperately needs to be done about that awful Under Armor music...


This is basketball, not FOOTBALL!

However, even though I agree with you, most people seemed to feel that video was too long. Still, I think that video was the best true "psych-up" video.

Yes, it may be long, but you wouldn't believe the exposure you get with that kind of video AND the amount of people that would come with me or near me that said they really enjoyed how BU did their pregame intros for the team...

Lots of ppl thought that was awesome and this year, most aren't even paying attention to the video board and its only 2 home games into the season...


Thats just sad really and a poor job done by whoever puts that video and sound package together...

My favorite video was the one that ended with the picture of Ruff holding one finger in the air. Gave me goosebumps everytime.

That would be the same video....


Had "The Shot Part 1" (Deon), "The Shot Part 2" (Will F) along w/ many other great Bradley moments that included the 06 Sweet 16 run with Ruff at the end...


They could make a new one with the current players and at the end include "The Shot Part 3" (Chris) and him and the team at the end of the video....


Hmm...what about using "Thunderstruck" with the video because then you can use those graphics from the recruiting guide they are using with the 1 tradition mixed in between the video footage.

I want them to make a video like the 07' one. And make the players run down through the student section again. That rocked, however dangerous it was!
 
I liked the 06 intros with the up tempo melody and loved the 07 intros with the "We Fly High" song. Despite its lyrics, it's still a good song to get the blood flowin. The 08 intro and this seasons videos just plain suck. I watched last seasons intro the first time and didn't watch it again, same is going for this one. I know one thing though, a sure crowd riser would be to put Hersey in a clip or 2.

Maybe for future video clips, they can have a multimedia senior class create several intro vids with music as a group project. Then those vids are posted online and fans vote for which one they like the best.
