Prediction on next season

Sammy and his family are very close to JL. If JL isn't here, I would see SM choosing to play for a team with a good shot at making the NCAA, not a new coach who would be rebuilding.

I don't believe Sammy can transfer to another Division I school and play if Les leaves. When you enter college, you have five years to play four seasons and Sammy is already in year four.

There is a graduate transfer rule which allows a player who has graduated from one institution to transfer to another institution without sitting out a year if that institution features a course of graduate study not offered at the first institution. In practice, this makes three-year college grads free agents in their fourth year. However, this option is NOT available to someone who has redshirted, making Sammy ineligible to play for another DI institution.

Just how would a kid be able to graduate and still have 1 year of eligibility left is he didn't redshirt or sit out at least 1 year? The only way it could happen is if a kid graduates in just 3 years, which is virtually unheard of. Every case of a grad student-athlete that I can find that took advantage of this transfer rule, was a 5th-year athlete who was graduating with 1 year of eligibilti left because he sat out a year, just like Sammy's.

Myron Rolle that was a football player from Florida State graduated in 2.5 years. I know in the NAIA if your in summer school they dont count that against, since I'm an NAIA athlete. so NCAA i would think would be something like that also.

Back on the tread topic not going to predict the season just conference and i think 4-14 would be nice. the mvc had a rebuilding year and will be much better next season. go bu
