Predict the Braves Valley finish

The Braves are really bunched up in the middle of the pack right now......how high can they really finish? We all know they were picked 8th in the pre-season......but where do you think they will finish by the end of the regular season? :-o


I pick a 5th place finish for the Braves! :?

I agree....a 5th place finish looks about right. Losing that tiebreaker tonight really hurt.

look out for UE and WS to also make a big run......we need to tighten it up and take care of business just to finish in 5th IMO! :wink: With-out winning the Valley tourney.....I think a Top 4 finish is needed to get back to the NCAA.....anything less would mean NIT! :wink:

Looks like we're just going to be in the middle. I also predict we'll finish 5th, 4th if we're lucky with a 25% chance at an NCAA bid. Missouri was a must win.

5th place which is better then expected; looks like an nit bid unles we can figure out how to win 2 more road games and win the rest at home; a post season bid of any kind makes this a successful season.

I think we can finish 3rd. We're really not that far behind. If we beat Creighton on Wednesday, we're right there. The only remaining road test is against SIU, and I honestly don't see anyone else beating us at home.

i like that optimism! the loss uni had last nite @ drake helped us out. if we can do that then win bb game, we should have a good shot of getting in if we win a couple in mvc tourny!

I think alot of people are overlooking our game at Evansville. This will be a very difficult game for us to win IMO. E'ville's size (Strickland and Webster) gives us trouble. If we win this game, we are definately not playing on Thursday night in STL. If we lose....who knows?

I think 3rd is the best case scenario but also very possible, I think 5th is more likely, which is bad, because to be consdered we need to at least make to the MVC championship game, and probably win it. I agree with chucky t's that we need to look out for EU, they are going to give us a good fight. Right now though, lets just pack the house for CU and be the best 6th man in the valley.
