Anybody know if team practices are for the public to attend, or they off limits. Know the media and Dave Snell mention being at practices in their conversations on the radio. Would like to attend practices if the general public is allowed to attend.

This is correct. Some college coaches like to have open practices, but not Coach Wardle. The only time any media might be at a practice is if they either request to be there for an interview or to get information for a story, or by invitation, and that doesn't happen often.
 
Would be nice if Coach opened it up like 2x per year, but it's his prerogative and maybe best for the team.

This is a great group of guys judging by the time I spent with them for 2 days in June for the youth camp.
Though we lost some great talent (and awesome guys), I think we may have gained a few guys with a hunger to win and a focus to maintain the whole season...a final shot to conclude their college career on a high note...I'd like to believe these Freshman have a certain maturity already that most don't.

AJ, Alex will be assets...Meta and CT will lead as seniors
The youth will grow together.
The BRAVES will be the team to beat.
 
There have been several past seasons when an open practice was held, but not during the summers.

FWIW - we're here at the Ren-Col, and here's my observations...

-first - hafta leave one comment about the Main/Univ. intersection
..it wasn't like traffic was heavy but still had to sit thru a couple long, 3-min green light cycles while people waited to turn & the extremely few pedestrians took their time crossing diagonally.
Then you turn on Main & head to the parking deck, and at least a dozen more students along the next 3 blocks dart across Main street anywhere & everywhere they want.
They don't want to go to the corner, push a button, & wait - they just cross at their own choosing...

Reminder: there is an open practice tomorrow, Thursday, Oct. 25, for season ticket holders.

Then, the season is only 1 week from tomorrow! It is getting close! On Thursday, Nov. 1, Bradley will play their first game, and exhibition game, against Carroll University.
The Carroll Pioneers are a NCAA Division III team located in Waukesha, Wisconsin. They are members of one of the strongest D3 conferences in the country, the CCIW (Collegiate Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin). Other members of the CCIW that Bradley fans will be familiar with are Illinois Wesleyan, Augustana, Wheaton...

There was also an open practice scheduled for Oct. 22, 2019, but it ended up being cancelled due to a conflict with some players' class schedules.

Then Covid hit, and they did away with the open practices.

I just heard from a friend who is an ISU fans that a "bonus" that their new NIL Collective "VIP Club" (which they call their "1998 Club"
is that the members get (among other "perks") to sit in on otherwise closed practices. I think that is a great idea, and I wish
Bradley or the Braves Club would do that.
The opportunity to be treated to that kind of a perk would definitley draw in new members and new contributions.

HOTB/BSS members do get that perk. We do a few each year.
 
That's good - altho that appears to not be mentioned at all on the HOTBrave website if someone was exploring joining....(unless it's hidden in among ""Members-Only Events")

... but what I was thinking - the team already has the $$ from the high end donors, what I am suggesting is offer some
desirable perks to the "common fan" - the guy who maybe doesn't even buy season tickets or who is at the
low end of the Braves Club....
With a modest extra $250 or $500 or $1000 extra donation, you'd get rewarded with open practices, maybe a cookout with the team, etc - things that pretty much do NOT cost the program much at all.

A source says that freshman Roman Domon, junior Brayden Shorter, sophomore KJ Tenner, and former BU recruit freshman Tristian Ford were the most impressive players at their open practice. Domon did not play in any of their three exhibition games in the Bahamas, and Fred King, who
was not mentioned in the comment on their open practice, was the leading scorer in all three of their exhibition games.

Domon was playing with the French National team in the FIBA U-20 Eurobasket tournament this past summer and was not able to be involved with the early practices Murray State had prior to their games in the Bahamas
France finished 3rd in the tournament, and Domon was their leading scorer with 12.9 ppg.

But the games concluded way back on July 20, a month and a half ago...
and his average in the 7 games of the tourney was 12.6 ppg according to FIBA plus he led the team in minutes played, ppg, rpg, apg and steals
Domon is known as a prolific shooter- he took ~a dozen shots per game and 5 1/2 3-pointers,
his overall shooting pct was 37.7% and his 3-pt shooting pct was 23.7%.

Not sure what that means. There was never any plan for Domon to join the Murray State team for those summer games. He would have had to be enrolled at Murray State for the summer to be eligible to be on the team and that was never gong to be possible with him playing in Greece at that time with his French National team.
 
Romon Domon is a star in international competition avergaing 12.6 ppg on 30% shooting against U20 competition -
virtually none of whom are DI talent - and getting writeups for being a 2026 NBA Draft choice even before he steps on campus - LINK
