Post game thread - BU 83 Tulsa 74

So, Bradley won Game 2 of the CBI, preventing the Golden Hurricane from cutting down the nets at Carver Arena! :) David Collins did great (with the exception of his free throw shooting), having 8 points during the game. Will Egolf even had an appearance, though he didn't score any points. Crouch led the team with 20 points.

Hopefully, Bradley can carry this confidence with them to Tulsa and win on the road!

I thought JC ended with 17 points....

I have a feeling that Bradley will have to shoot around 60% again the entire game, or Tulsa will have to shoot like they did in the first game. Basically no cold streaks or else we won't be able to fight the size advantage, court advantage, and touchy fouls/non fouls (not saying advantage haha)

Great game by the Braves...now I get to see them one more time down here, and hopefully get to see them win the title here. If we play like we did tonight, that should be good enough even on the road.

NICE GAME AND NICE CROWD....WHAT WAS THE ANNOUNCED ATTENDANCE? Was it 9000 something? Kudos for AW tonight...he kept the game out of reach!

We ran some plays a little differently tonight that I had already planned on posting. JL mentioned them on the postgame show, but I'll still bring them up. Daniel Ruffin just didn't stop when he couldn't get off a shot going baseline, but continued on through. Once through he looked for a big at about the free throw line. Both Collins and Singh converted these short jumpers. I liked it.

my mistake...I was there also though and I remember looking up as he went out and seeing 17 somewhere and saying to my friends that his last game as a Brave he got 17 points; I guess I'm illiterate now..I go to college haha:cool:

edit: must've been Warren I was looking at

agreed
JL rewrote some of their offensive strategy and really got the braves off to a great start.

I liked what I saw and hope that it continues and it wasn't the "home field advantage" that gave us the edge :D

Also enjoy seeing David Collins get some confidence back and attacking the basket and getting some good minutes! :D

Good game and a great crowd. Who is this David Collins character, and where has he been all year? :)

Seriously though, our bigs played a great game. If they can somehow duplicate tonight's performance I'm really confident that we can win on Friday. JC and Adrew continue to play great.

I think you ment to say "home COURT advantage" BUConnerD....I don't think BU has had the home field advantage since about 1971 or so...:p;):p

edit: ooops...forgot about soccer, baseball, and softball....

I thought we played a very consistent game tonight. Answered every run that they tried to make. Really the only negative I have from this game is the freethrow shooting. We have to get better or Friday could be ugly. Really liked what I saw from DC tonight, I think that speaks volumes about the benefit of this tourney.

Nice game...Congrats

Nice game...Congrats

As a long time TU fan who goes back to the MVC days, this was a great game! Although I rooted hard for TU, this was a great game and a pleasure to watch.

You have a great, well coached team. The next game should be a lot of fun to watch.

Thanks w02...........we are happy to be playing a return game for the trophy!

OH Yeah.....BACK/BACK/BACK 21 win seasons and a chance for 22.....NICE! :D
