Players from the past

That is really sad. I can't believe they are removing all those plaques and disposing of them for next-to-nothing. They don't even give a reason. And the part about replacing it with a future display, I am not holding my breath.
Can't they find room at the Peoria Riverfront Museum or somewhere else? There is a lot of great history there.
To hell with their renovations. They need to find a place for these items. This is history you can ever get back again. They need to care more about Peoria than that

When I think of players of the past, I think of players from the '60s and '70s. To name a few from the '60s, from when I first started following BU men's hoops, there is Levern Tart, Eddie Jackson, Ernie Thompson, Joe Allen, and Al Smith. These players are ancient history for some, probably before some were born, but not for me.

My first full season of following the Braves was the '64-'65 season, Ozzie's last as head coach. I do remember the '64 NIT very well and attended my first game earlier that season.
And…L.C. Bowen, Willie Betts, Alex McNutt, and Steve Kuberski.
