Player Outlook: Andrew Warren

Probably a pretty realistic outlook Joe. But let's hope he averages more than the 12 ppg you suggest. We'll need it.

Joe already has us averaging over 77 points/game.....that's more than 10 points/game over last season. I'll take 12 from AW if we're averaging 77 points! :D

the sum of the individual players per game averages never equals the team's per game averages...

check it out for yourself...
the individual player averages come to >72 pts/game
but the team actually averaged 67.1 ppg.

the numbers would be equal if the games that each player DID NOT PLAY, his scoring average for that game were included as zero points...

There will probably always be some pain involved in AW's injury. Hopefully he can learn to play through some of that persistent pain.

Ok.....so we're still projected to score 72-ish points per game without DSE. I'll still take 12 from AW if that's the case.

Didnt AW come back early from his finger fracture a couple of years ago??
He'll be fine! :)

I think the concern lies in the fact that we heard the same thing last year. He's healing fine and should be ready for the games in Florida......he's not going to play in Florida, but should be ready to go in a few weeks......he should be ready in time for conference season...........

Here we are a year later and he's not ready to play on the trip to Brazil.

I know where you are coming from... Just being optimistic....not all out crazy oprimistic... just eager optimistic to see AW in a Braves uni this coming season/

Mayhem, you have done a great job, thanks for the coverage!

My only beef with the AW write-up is the fact that Bradley hasn't used a "Small Forward" since Deon Jackson in the mid-1990's. AW plays shooting/off guard because BU uses a 3-guard line-up. The traditional G/G/F/F/C isn't found often in college basketball anymore (except Michigan St who has recently has chosen to use a SF rather than a 3rd guard). Most teams line up as G/G/G/F/F or G/G/G/F/C...and we all remember our infamous 4-guard lineup of the 06-07 season.

It's a minor detail. I look forward to continuing to read your articles and posts of BF.

Thanks for the nice words. I'm having fun doing it.

I agree... the SF designation doesn't really exist much. AW seems like a stereotypical SF, so I called him that.

Stay tuned for some fun stuff at the Bradley Examiner site!

A healthy AW will eat into a lot of time of some of the other players and I'd expect to see 18+ ppg for the 2nd 1/2 of the season.
