Player introduction music

At the game last night with 14 yr old grandson. When time for BU players to be introduced, the music began to play. We agreed that something was missing with the choice of music. This is the time for energizing the crowd and the beginning of the home crowd advantage. Please tell me, this is not all we have. Thank you
 
I agree... I actually got bored watching the pregame video and intro music.. it definitely didn't pump me up at all.
 
IF the players need certain music to get them fired up, give all of them i-pods and head sets.

I suggest the crowd needs different music to get fired up, and my guess is it isn't recorded rap or hip hop music with MTV videos.

But then again, I am a old caucasian who grew up with rock and roll.

I have been going to games for a very long time and the intro"s this year heve been so bad that you cannot wait for them to end, somebody please play something that will get the crowd fired up as it is important to get the place rocking before the game starts, maybe the cheerleaders should be consulted on this matter.

I agree, my friends were in town for the game, and they looked at me and pretty much said, 'What the heck is this?' It just sets up a whole weird vibe early on. It definitely needs a lot of work.
 
Intros generally seemed really forced and awkward when trying to use an actual song with lyrics. Much better to find something instrumental with a good beat, powerful bass line and high energy. Seems like this year a conscious effort was made to move away from the rap music players prefer, unfortunately they settled on something no one likes.

At least it sounds like they fixed the speaker with the blown tweeter.
 
We complained about the intro video/song all last season and it never changed.

This season it's worse because they got rid of Zombie Nation and decided to insert a really boring & lame song that has no business in an intro lineup for any sport LOL. I miss Zombie Nation, bring that back at the least.

Apparently the video/song editors don't read this board. We need to find someone to contact about this, let our voice be heard lol.

Whoever chooses the music on game night has the toughest job ... including Geno's. Musical tastes are like snowflakes ... no two alike. Chico's got it right on how to please everyone.

You mean they are playing music at the games -- hmmm.../

I never noticed - I come to watch the basketball games!!! ;)
