Patriots now 16-0 - could it be 19-0?

So, I'm not that big of a football fan, but I have been following some of the scores in the newspaper. When I heard that the Patriots were 15-0 and were playing their last game tonight, I ended up watching some of it. More specifically, I watched the last quarter of the game. The Patriots were down 23-28, yet they managed to get 22 unanswered points (7 in the 3rd quarter apparently, and 15 in the 4th quarter, including a long pass at 11:15 in the 4th quarter by Tom Brady to Randy Moss that became a short touchdown run), only to be followed by a New York touchdown at around the 1:04 mark. In the end, they won 38-35.

So, what do you think are the Patriots chances in the postseason? I think that they will easily win the AFC Divisional Playoffs, but winning the conference championship will be challenging, especially if they are facing a vengeful Colts team. They still have a good chance of winning it all, but by the second game (if the Colts win their first), it's going to be a challenge.
 
Hopefully people tuned in for the game last night as a historically significant sports achievement was accomplished by the Patriots when they finished the regular season unbeaten.

While I think the Pats are the best team in the NFL, they will have their hands full winning two AFC playoff games to get to the Superbowl. The Eagles, Ravens, and Giants have given them close games down the stretch. Now they have to win two games against the likes of Indy, Jacksonville, and San Diego ... which will be tough. The AFC playoffs this year are going to showcase some great football games.

If the Pats get by their AFC rivals, then it could be another Superbowl blowout as I think they are heads an shoulders above the the NFC teams. I attended the Pats-Cowboys game and the Cowboys-Packers game. The Patriots shouldn't have a problem against any of the teams from the NFC.
 
Dallas I agree with you again. The Pat's hardest game will be against the AFC. Pat's weakness if any is their run Defense and if they play a game in really bad weather against an AFC team with a great runner and eat the clock it could present some real problems. I also have noticed that when they are not getting any pass rush their secondary seems to allow consistant 10-15 yards passes within their zone coverage. I still say the Colts and Pats will play in the AFC chamionship and the winner will win the Super Bowl.

I'm not sure who they may play prior to the Colts but if it's San Diego LT could do some serious damage. Jacksonville has a pretty good running game and should give the Steelers a real hard game. Tenn is probably the worst team in the AFC playoffs.

I'd love to see the Packers represent the NFC. Imagine Brady vs Brett!
 
Giants win; anyone else notice what poor sportsmanship was exibited by the coach of New England as he left the field before the game was actually over, the one thing I have always said to myself and any of the players I coached or played with it is always easy to be a good winner but the true character of one comes out after a tough loss.
