Patrick Playing

You watching?

I scanned the dial and am shocked at all the channels I am gonna have to ban for my 3 yr old daughter as she gets older.

As for a boxscore, I got this from Yahoo at the 1/2:

Name Min FG 3Pt FT Off Reb Ast TO Stl Blk PF Pts
P. O'Bryant 9 4-6 0-0 0-0 1 2 0 1 0 1 3 8

Not bad, IMO.

EDit part: I know it is hard to read the info... but I just wanna say... is this a candidate for the NBDL?

GIVE ME A BREAK!

Patrick O'Bryant scored 8 points, 3 rebounds, and 1 block in last night's preseason game against the Portland Trail Blazers. GS won 124-120 at Portland.
POB played 9+ minutes--

Troy Murphy, Golden State's center, left the game in the 4th quarter with a broken nose. Patrick may get more playing time in Golden State's next game--

In the article below, coach Don Nelson raves about Patrick's skills.

"O'Bryant is an unbelievable talent," Nelson said. "We haven't seen him much, but he has really good size, skills and length. Right now he doesn't really know what to do in NBA games, but he has touch, great hands, all the fundamentals.
"I think he's going to be a really good player"--

It states- "Nelson ruled out sending O'Bryant to the development league, a possibility O'Bryant had been using as motivation"..... which I think meant to say that Nelson had been using as motivation, not O'Bryant.

I missed like the first 3 minutes of the game trying to find parking for less than 30 bucks.

I come in and the score is like 4-3 warriors. Needless to say neither team is shooting the ball well. There was no one there. It was almost eerie how quiet it was. I tried to move to a better section, and so I sat down in a completely empty section. The usher was there in 2 seconds to make me show him my ticket. Rediculous.

POB hit a nice baseline jumper from 15 feet and looked smooth.
It struck me during the first quarter how big POB is compared to the NOK line. He has really long arms, for example a guard tried to pickpocket him from behind out by the 3 point line and deflected it away. POB just snaked his arm around and grabbed it back with one hand. He was having a bit of trouble holding position for rebounds, but he did a good job of blocking out so the guards could rebound.

AV- I love the reports on Patrick. Please keep them coming.
I am sure all us Bradley fans want to hear how he's doing, and wish him well. I hope he doesn't get frustrated with his lack of playing time. He's gonna be a star!
