Pacers to be Dismantled?

More evidence of some serious happenings with the Pacers.

The Pacers are now eliminated from the playoffs for the first time in 10 years, and the very next day....this headline appears:

"Pacers slash prices for some seats
Some upper-level tickets will drop by more than 50%"

Some seats are dropping from $55 to $25!

"Allegations of off-court offenses and the first losing record in 10 years have dropped attendance this season. The Pacers have averaged 15,321 fans, down from last year's average of 16,179."

Then this......
"Pacers: Now What?"
...which basically says wholesale changes are coming, but that the Pacers are not looking to shop Danny Granger.
So DG may be stuck for the next several years in a rebuilding scheme and cost cutting efforts.

Danny must feel like a guy who inadvertently gets on board a ship just as they haul it away to be scuttled!

Pacers finished very disappointing and out of the playoffs.
This year's draft is one of the best and deepest in history, and guess what.
The Pacers have an estimated 1-2% chance of actually being able to draft this season.
That's because the Pacers (via trades) won't have any first or second round picks this year unless (by wording of the trade deals) their lottery position places them in the top 3 picks, then they do get to keep their pick.
The draft lottery will be May 22 when the ping pong balls get drawn.
