I thought Texas turned down the Pac 10 not the other way around! I never heard about the Big X and Texas? I believe and everything I am reading says that the Big XII will implode and with the Pack X's TV deal coming up and the Big X wanting to create a football championship game, I'd have to believe anything is possible.
In reality I really do not care what happens to those conferences as long as our Administration at BU has plans to make sure our Basketball program lands on their feet. If not bye, bye BU basketball like we dream of and I'd expect us to have a new Prez in a short time of it. It is that critical to fund raising for the schools endowment. We are not an Ivy League school where the sports program can take a hit but fund raising continues at a high clip. Even there the Admins know that a good season from one of their programs can help.
