scouter, I think they have now swung the other way and begun to report this more like the National Enquirer.
Put it in the local section where it belongs. It is a neighborhood dispute. There are 100 a day in Peoria and the police even get called to probably 30-40 a day.
Now I am convinced someone just wants to whip this into a story to get more hits on their website.
Now that I am also in the website business, I can relate to that lure......
But, I am going to leave the whole story alone, as a personal protest saying "this is a non-story, let it die".
Let me know if this year's homecoming will resemble the parade scene out of Animal House with the frat rats versus the townies. Because, if there is going to be a melee, I want to be there! :-D
Yes, it is a neighborhood dispute. But it involves a city councilwoman belittling the authority of police in the area that she represents, which makes is newsworthy. You're free to think it's a non-story, but the responses from most people on this thread seem to think otherwise. Would you want this woman making decisions for your local government?
well if nothing else good comes out of this, at least this thread has prompted me to watch animal house again, lol
Didnt the Dean Welmer's wife wreck her car as she was pulling up the fraternity house? I think she also might have a sip of wine or two before going over to the fraternity house.

Was it over when the Germans bombed Pearl Harbor? Haha![]()
Phil Luciano has another column regarding the living situation in the Moss-Bradley neighborhood.

I suggest the residents of Peoria realize just how important Bradley University is to this city.
Sorry, but the censorship committe held a late night meeting and decided that this topic had veered a little too far off-course with personal attacks and spelling gotchas.
Sorry, I couldn't help myself.:-D
