Offers for 2027 and beyond

Has anyone heard how the visit went?
Coach Wardle comments a couple times about the player visiting in this interview

The sports/recruiting website 24/7Sports just revised their 2027 rankings...
and state:
"Another mid-major hosting a four-star prospect this weekend is Bradley.
The Braves have Lyris Robinson, a shooting guard who ranks No. 94 in the senior class, coming to town."
LINK

another subscription recruiting site, PrepHoops has Lyris Robinson ranked #82 ---- LINK

ESPN ranks him #50 in Class of 2027 and #10 among shooting guards- LINK
(another player on Bradley's list of offers, Deuce McDuffie is #98 on this ranking)

This site has Lyris Robinson ranked #56 - LINK

and here's a listing of some downstate guys who are under the radar...
can anyone spot the son of a former Bradley basketball player?

2027 Offers now that Cooper Zachary is off the list:
Lyris Robinson - now getting some really high level offers- and playing well this summer
Johnny Lackaff - having a very good summer - LINK -- LINK
Deuce McDuffie - likewise playing well this summer - LINK -- LINK - Milwaukee kid now transferring to prep school in Kansas
Nazir Allen - LINK - will be playing at Mineral Area College again in 2026-27

Another of the guys Bradley had previously offered for 2027 (no guarantee BU is still pursuing) has now committed elsewhere.....
.....
Johnny Lackaff........
reportedly he had 5 or 6 DI offers, but they were all from before July 1, 2025 - none since, so maybe some of his offers,
and maybe even the Bradley offer had dropped off and ISU came in and offered recently.

What makes me even more convinced Bradley dropped off is that he doesn't any longer list Bradley among his offers- LINK

Lyris Robinson visited San Diego State on Sept. 10 and I checked all their message boards and local media, and nothing!
Their message board fans are far more focused on a few other, higher rated recruits and don't seem too interested in Robinson at all.

New Mexico fans are a bit more interested- see below- Robinson vists New Mexico Sept. 26, then St. Mary's Oct. 3 & Utah State Oct. 9.

also - one other note- many will recall Yuba College head coach Doug Cornelius, good friend of Jim Les and the coach that sent Bradley
both Zach Andrews & Lawrence "Boogie" Wright. Well, Doug Cornelius' son Cooper Cornelius who played for his father at Yuba College,
was his juco conference Defensive Player of the Year and hit 44.1% from 3-point- JUST COMMITTED to San Diego State.

Class of 2027 Lyris Robinson who is a 6-6 wing player - is currently on his visit at New Mexico, BUT... of interest is that....
Just a couple days ago New Mexico got a commitment from another 6-6 wing player, Wes Hilldale - LINK
In addition - they already had a highly rated 6-4 wing player committed as well.
Who knows, maybe that will affect Robinson's choice.

Former Bradley Brave Mikey Howell is one of New Mexico's assistants and Lyris Robinson grew as a ball boy for New Mexico because his dad Jerome Robinson was an assistant coach there.

Lyris Robinson’s visit to St. Mary’s this past weekend came & went without a single mention anywhere. They have a very active fan message board & numerous discussions about recruits - but no mention of Robinson, altho one guy previously referrred to him as a backup plan and a role player.
I hope Lyris reads that stuff & knows where he’s really wanted & would thrive.IMG_7393.jpeg

Lyris Robinson has a planned visit to Utah State University this weekend - the 5th of his announced 5 planned visits
He reportedly would attend Utah State's exhibition game tomorrow afternoon against University of Denver. However, Utah State just got a 2027 commitment from a nearly identical player, a kid named King Rachal, a Top-50 player nationally

Now there's discussion on the Utah State message board that "Lyris (Robinson) is no longer coming"....
I guess we will soon find out.
Lyris Robinson also reportedly had an offer from West Virginia, and West Virginia was listed as one of his final choices - and there's a report on a West Virginia site that he may visit there instead.

I never saw a single mention or report of his visit to St. Mary's, so perhaps that one got cancelled?
hopefully he will choose after taking his visits - and GIVE Lyris a follow - let him know Bradley really wants him!

Lyris Robinson did cancel his plans to visit Utah State

Utah State's preseason exhib today beat Denver 86-76, Will Hornseth 13 pts/9reb, Connor Turnbull 8pts/5reb. Ace Reiser 3pts.
Drake played a closed scrimmage this morning vs Minnesota but no info has been made available.
UC-Irvine played an international exhibition vs Univ of Quebec today and won easily 101-70
Wisconsin beat D2 UW-Parkside 94-71 Wisconsin plays future BU opponent Green Bay on Thursday.

Evansville plays Austin Peay at 4pm tomorrow (Sunday).

also, mention that Bradley is still recruiting 2028 Ethan Vahl - LINK

couple update articles on guys Bradley has offered-
- Deuce McDuffie- LINK -- LINK
McDuffie has transferred from his Milwaukee high school to a prep school in Kansas City - he stood out in a recent prep tourney
in the St. Louis area - This article is screened thru a paywall remover, so it is what it is - LINK

In a new national ranking, Lyris Robinson has skyrocketed up to the #10 shooting guard nationally - LINK & Top 50 overall.
His Arizona prep school team is doing well - LINK

Nazir Allen is back at Mineral Area juco this season. Several articles said he played well over the summer at juco events, and he has a new teammate.
Al Brooks, Jr. is a transfer to Mineral Area from Cloud County Community College - and is a 6-9 guard from the Chicago area, but I don't think he's any relation to former BU assistant Alvin Brooks. He had some pretty good stats last year at Cloud County- LINK
(Younger brother Ikee Brooks is also at Mineral Area)

...Nazir Allen is back at Mineral Area juco this season....
The early NJCAA junior college rankings are out and the only juco player I know of that holds (or at least did hold) a Bradley offer
is Nazir Allen of Mineral Area College. They are in the #20 spot in the National Rankings - LINK
Ben Thornbrue's juco College of Southern Idaho is #4, Braylon Roman's is #7
