I just talked to another BU grad and fan who sits with a long time big donor and alum. They are really upset with the new logo, and one other thing that I never considered much. Has anyone else noticed that the red color for the floor, and the logo on the basket support is a completely different shade of red? It is a different shade of red, after it had been the same shade of red since at least the 1960's. Why was that necessary?
This really has this guy honked off, and he is not planning on continuing his donations. I know this sounds odd, but some long time alumni are really sensitive to changes made, especially when they feel it isn't justified, and that the changes are being made by people who do not appreciate the tradition and history of Bradley. In his words- "That is my logo and my colors they are changing, not theirs".
Here is what it looks like when there is a game being played-
Besides the obvious, unique, and distinctive center logo, the name Cincinnati is plastered 5 times across the media/scorers table, as well as at the ends, so it is easy for anyone to see it is Cincinnati. Our logo is not so well known, a nor distinctive.

Not to split hairs, but that's an LED board in front of the media table, so I'm sure that it changes constantly throughout the game (much like at Carver Arena).

So we should have something else on the floor instead? Seems to me that if you want your logo to become well known YOU PUT IT EVERYWHERE.
Here is the logo I personally would have preferred to see, and many I have heard from agree. Maybe even dress it up a little with a small drop shadow or something, so it shows better on TV. It is not a huge difference, just that it identifies the block B as being Bradley. IMO, that is an important distinction when your logo is new, and nobody knows it.-
