he can't possibly have a redshirt year available - he redshirted one year at CMU then played one year there and one more at juco

I hope Barnes is a sleeper ready to explode. the comparison to WE is nice, however if he is as soft as WE I will be concerned. I like the fact that this kid played hockey, that means he is ok with contact, and will seek it out. having the ability and ok to shoot the 3 needs to be managed at a high level by him. We need a stretch 4 that can shoot but excels at being a monster 12 ft and in lol.
 
I think he has alot of upside. Needs to gain weight which he will once he gets on regular weight lifting program. I like his rebounding stats. Shows he is not afraid to get in and mix it up (ala hockey). Anyone know his leaping ability? I would think with hockey he would have good leg and ankle strength
 
I hadn't seen a mention in any of DR's articles of any other offers - can anyone link to reports of the several other offers?
