MVC semifinals

sure - but one redeeming factor is that the several thousands of Wichita fans who were in St. Louis all had their tickets purchased for Sunday in advance...
So, they won't sell as many hot dogs but those tickets were sold.

Yes there were several Wichita fans that had tickets purchased for today. However, I would guess there were not as many people from Wichita hanging around the restaurants and bars last night spending money. The same applies for today. I would guess there are not as many people from Wichita eating breakfast at restaurants in St. Louis today. With Wichita losing, I believe the city of St. Louis is losing out on a lot of revenue.

I am proud of the strong & vocal Bradley contingent - met many people from outside Peoria who had made the trip ...

from Missouri but also from Virginia, Texas, and elsewhere...
notable was the complete absence of the small but ever vocal core of fans who barked incessantly about getting rid of JL then letting Cross/Glasser drag the program into the abyss.

It's possible most of the Wichita fans stayed until this morning since their rooms would have paid through this morning. There are even some of their fans at the game but it sure was a lot easier getting in the arena without the throng of Shocker fans. Both Evansville and UNI crowds are noticeable bigger.

I had all-session tickets, and I will say that even though Indiana State was being blown out early on, I was impressed with how their small crowd stayed to the end. They acted like they were asleep, but at least they stayed.
